When I Find You

Chapter 16

Jessica's POV. 

"I hope everything is going well." I said to Ian as we sat in the stools at the kitchen island eating our lunch. We had just finished talking to Ryder, we went over the plan and he left to execute it.
"Yeah me too. I hope that asshole doesn't mess up anything." He replied.
"So what do you want to do today?" I asked. "We've probably got until tomorrow to relax."
"Um whatever you wanna do." He said.
"Can we umm... Can we go on a date?" I asked nervously. Ian laughed so hard that he fell to the ground and laid there laughing.
"What's so funny" I frowned while watching him literally roll on the floor laughing.
"You-you-" he began to say but just continued laughing. He got up from the floor and took my hand in his.
"Why were you so scared to ask me that?" He smiled. "It was so adorable. Your too cute" he smiled.
"I was just was nervous. And we've never been on a date. I mean your my boyfriend and we know only so much about each other. And since we met, we've never really gotten a chance to connect or just talk." I said rapidly.
"Woah! Calm down sweetie" he chuckled. "Of course we can go on a date." He said and kissed the top of my forehead.
"Really?!" My eyes grew wide and I hugged him tighter than ever.
"Where do you wanna go?" He asked.
"Can't you surprise me? Make me feel as if we're the only two people on earth" I said as if I was in some fairy tale book.
"Alright go get ready." He said.
"Wait what do I wear?" I asked.
"Nothing." He grinned and I playfully snaked his rock hard chest. "Wear anything. You look beautiful in everything." He gave me a quick peck on the lips and I made my way to the bedroom to get ready. I took a quick shower and applied a little bit of makeup. I did a winged liner and some mascara and a mauve colored lipstick.
I looked through my closet for what seemed like hours. I put on some sexy lingerie for just In case and then I threw on a navy blue dress that fitted the top of me and the flared a little tiny bit at the ends. The ends had lace around them and the neck line was cut into a deep v- shape. I looked at the time 5:00. It was quite early so I left the room and walked into the living room.
"Woah! You look gorgeous." Mathew said as I sat down.
"Thanks Mat. Hey you have any idea where Ian and Ethan are?" I asked.
"No I don't" he said while trying to hide a smile.
"What's going on ?" I asked.
"Nothing." He replied instantaneously.
I didn't bother to question him anymore, instead I turned the TV.

*knock knock*
"Who's that" I asked Mathew and he shrugged his shoulders.
I got up and cautiously opened the door.
"Oh my god!" My eyes started tearing up. There was Ian in a white button down shirt and black jeans and shoes with a huge bouquet of red roses.
"My god you look beautiful." Ian's eyes ran up and downy body. He handed me the roses and said "you are the most beautiful girl I've ever met." He pulled me in close and gave a sweet passionate kiss. When we broke the kiss, all I wanted to do was kiss him again, but I didn't.
"I have the best boyfriend ever." I said while smiling. "I'm going to go put these in a vase" I said.
I ran the the kitchen, put the flowers in a vase and set them down on the kitchen island. I walked back to Ian and we left.

"Are we there yet?" I asked Ian for the 100th time. We had been driving for at least and hour and I was getting impatient.
"Jessica..." He said annoyed.
"Ugh sorry." I said.
"We're almost there. Ok here put this on." He handed me a blindfold.
"What the hell?" I said. "This isn't some Christian Grey thing right?" I said worried. "Because if it is, please take us back home." I said. Ian chuckled and shook his head 'no'
"Just put it on Jess." I complied to his demands and put the blindfold on.

After about another 10 minutes of driving, the car finally stopped.
I could hear the sound of Ian shutting the engine off and opening his car door. He shut his car door and walked over to mine. He opened my door and grabbed my hand. He guided me out the car, shut the door and locked the car.
We walked for a couple of minutes when we finally stopped.
Ian took of my blindfold and I slowly opened my eyes. My mouth hung open and my eyes grew wide. "Wow!!" I said shocked. "This-this is amazing !" I said
We were at a dock standing in front of a yacht, decorated with flowers. 
 We climbed onto the boat and walked towards a table in the center.
"Wow Ian. This is beyond amazing. This is absolutely mind blowing." I was still surprised at how amazing this was.

"Well you asked for a surprise." He chuckled. Suddenly a man walked up to us and brought us menus to look at.
We ordered our food and wine and waited.
"How is there a menu?" I asked confused.
"There's a restaurant over there" he said pointing the the 5 star restaurant on the shoreline. "I just asked if they could send me a waiter to my yacht and serve us for the night." I nodded my head and then realized what he just said.
"WAIT! THIS IS YOUR YACHT!!!????" I shouted.
"Yes." He laughed " I'm rich remember?" I then remembered how Ian's father was rich and Ian did work so he had money to buy a yacht.

Throughout the night Ian and I connected with one another. We spoke about our pasts and what we planned for our future. 
"Wow" I said as I looked up at the stars. The night sky was clear of clouds and all that showed was a million twinkling stars and a beautiful shining moon.
"I know right" Ian said. He got up and gestured for me to get up to. We climbed off the yacht and walked on the pier. "This night isn't over yet." Ian said as he took us back to the car. "Here put this back on." He handed me the blindfold once we entered the car.

We drove for another half an hour when finally we stopped again. Ian once again helped me out of the car and we walked. He took the blindfold off and I slowly opened my eyes. This sight was WAY more beautiful than the other.
"This-this is spectacular" I Awed at the sight in front of me. Ian and I walked hand in hand closer to the edge of the hill. We watched the beautiful city beneath us. The buildings looked beautiful from up her.
"You like?" He asked.
"No. I love!" I screamed.
"I knew you would like it" he said.
We sat at the edge of the hill and relaxed for a few more hours 
There was one question burning in the back of my head. I wanted to ask him something. But I was scared it would ruin our night.

I decided against asking Ian the question and we drove back home.
When we entered the house, we immediately went to change and got into bed. We were both utterly exhausted.
"Thank you" I mumbled while drifting away.
"Anything for you" I heard him say before I fell into a deep sleep.

Yeah nothing interesting here. Just a filler chapter. But next chapter is going to blow you away.
