When I Find You

Chapter 17

Ryder. 

"Ok so do you understand your job?" Jeremy asked me for the fifth time. I was seriously getting annoyed by him. He was pissing me off to the point where I wanted to bang my head against a wall.
"Yes sir" I gritted out of my teeth and rolled my eyes when he turned away from me. He walked to the door and stopped and turned around to face me again.
"I'm pretty sure that little brat and her new boyfriend are going to try something, you just need to make sure that she does not get inside here. Do you understand?" He asked once again. Seriously could this guy just leave already.
"Yes Jeremy. I understand." I Managed to say.
"Alright well just to let you know, I've got cameras all around the premises. I'll be watching your every move. If that brat comes any where near here, I'll know, and you'll end up just like her father." He grinned. "I'll be back in 2 days" he turned around and finally walked out the door. I walked into the bathroom and fished out my phone.
"Hey, Jeremy is finally gone." I said.
"Alright. We shouldn't waste anymore time." Jessica said through the phone.
We once again confirmed the plan and I hung up.

"Hey Aaron. How the prisoner?" I asked the guard.
"Hey Ryder, he's fine. How's your first day?"
"Oh it's fine. All the guards are having drinks in a few. Care to join???" I asked.
"No. I have to watch Frank." He said sadly.
"I'll bring the beer up to you. We can chill." I said trying to cheer him up.
"That sounds cool man." He replied.
" Be back in a few." I said as I walked away.

I walked into the lounge where all the guards took their break. I announced that I would be serving every one their drinks and scurried back into the kitchen. I dropped little pills in each glass of beer. 

I walked out with the crate of glasses and handed them to everyone. I heard 'thanks' from all corners of the room. Then I made my way up to Aaron, the guard that guarded Franks room. I handed him a beer and told him I would return with some snacks for us. Little did he know, he would be out in a few minutes.
I walked back into the lounge and waited for everyone to collapse. Finally after about 10 minutes I heard the moans and groans of miserable men as they collapsed onto the floor.
"Finally" I said.
I walked out of the lounge and made sure that every guard in the building was knocked out. Obviously Jeremy could see everything from his hidden cameras, but who cares. Eventually he would've found out that I wasn't with him. I quickly ran into the "chamber" where Frank was. Everyone called it the "forbidden chamber" because only Jeremy could go inside.
I saw Frank sitting tied against a chair. His head was leaning bad and trails of dried up blood ran down his face and body.
"Frank!" I screamed awakening him from his sleep. He jumped and his eyes were full of fear. He wanted to scream but the rag stuffed in his mouth wasn't allowing it.
I removed the rang and he immediately Spoke. "Who-who are you!?! Did Jeremy get tired of beating me himself!??!" He spoke in such a sad and miserable manner. I felt so sorry for all the torture this mans been through.
"I'm Ryder. I'm your daughters ex boyfriend. It's all part of a plan. You need to come with me. I'll explain everything on the way." I said rapidly as I began to untie him.
"No stop!" He yelled. "I'm not going anywhere with you. When Jeremy returns and sees what's happened, he will hurt Jess." He said softly as he hung his head low in defeat.
"No. She won't get hurt. I promise you. We need to leave NOW. We don't have much time. Jeremy can see everything. He's probably on his way back now." Frank hesitated at first but finally agreed and allowed me to get him out of the chair.

We bolted out the room and ran down the halls. Suddenly a whole set of alarms began to ring throughout the building. All the guards were still asleep. I grabbed franks hand and ran through a secret short cut that Jessica had shown me in the blueprints. We ran and ran when finally we reached a door that led to outside. I spotted the white delivery truck that Jessica promised she would be in and we ran towards it.
Frank and I got into the back of the huge truck and I smiled at him "we did it... Your free."

The truck began to drive down the road when I noticed something odd. There were huge garbage bags next to us. I looked at Frank and he shook his head no, meaning not to look in it. I decided to go against him and open it.
"AGHHH" I shouted when I opened the bag. There was Jessica tied up and covered in blood. Her mouth was stuffed with a rag and dry tears streamed down her face. She was chained to the floor and was knocked unconscious. I immediately went to the other bags and removed them. There I found Ian, Ethan and Mathew in the same condition as Jessica. I took out the rags from their mouths and the I bawled my eyes out. Frank ran up to Jessica and hugged her with all his life. He cried harder and harder each minute.
"What's going on?" I screamed.
"Surprise" I heard an evil laugh and I knew exactly who it was.
