Swimming pools - Kendrick Lamar ———————————————————————— Lilith watched with hooded eyes as maddy stormed through her bedroom door, instantly coughing at the immense amount of smoke in the younger girls room.
"Fuck Lilith, I get hotboxing but ain't this a bit much?" Maddy choked, running to the window to get a gasp of fresh air as Lilith sat, eyes red and whole body drowsy, watching Maddy's every move.
It had been days since the party. Days since Lilith unofficially told ashtray to fuck off in big, bold, capital letters with two strong middle fingers either side. And, well, that was just Lilith's over reactive stubborn side for you. There was no way in hell she was talking to him first, if at all.
"It's the entire point of hotboxing. I smoked a blunt, let the smoke fill the room, and I've been marinadinggg in this shi for the past 30 minutes." Lilith breathily giggled.
"...okay whatever." Maddy mumbled, walking to Lilith's bed and jumping on it beside the young girl. "Anyway, fucks up with you and ash recently? Neither of you mentioned each other for days man." Maddy asked, raising an eyebrow as Lilith scoffed and rolled her eyes.
"He's a fuckin bitch, that's what's up." Lilith muttered, holding her hand out in front of her face, fingers splayed, to inspect her nails.
"Why tho? You guys seemed way too close to be able to jus fuckin ignore each other suddenly." Maddy whined, shaking Lilith a little bit as the girl shrugged.
"Actin like he got feelings fo' me and shi, then we get in a fuckin fight, then he tells me I look hot, then I find him kissing someone else n HE pops at ME for DANCING with someone? Kids fuckin crazy mads, I can't be bothered for it." Lilith ranted, arms flying everywhere as she animated everything in anger before falling back against her headboard again like that never even happened.
Maddy opened her mouth to respond, but was shut up quickly when Lexi came bounding into Lilith's room.
"Lils, someone's here to see you. Maddy, you need to come talk with me for a bit, if that's cool." Lexi said softly, smiling her usual soft smile as Maddy nodded and got up, glancing behind herself at Lilith as she walked out.
"I'll be back in a minute babes." Maddy called before her and Lexi disappeared around the corner.
A minute or so passed before fezco appeared in her doorway, making Lilith cock her head slightly and raise an eyebrow at the older guy.
"Fuck did ash send you to say now." She scoffed, levelling her head and her eyebrows again as she looked back at her nails.
"Kid ain't sent me to say shi, I came here to say this shi myself man." Fezco mumbled in his usual slow tone, walking slowly to her and slumping into her bed with a heavy sigh.
They sat there staring at each other in silence for a dw minutes, before Lilith scoffed and turned away from him.
"Fuck you come here for then fez? Seriously I ain't in the mood to fuck about with this shi today." Lilith mumbled, making fez frown.
"Listen kid, this what's up. Ion know what the fuck goin on wit you and ash at the moment, but you better sort that shi out soon, he been in a pissy mood non stop since that stupid ass party and clearly so have you. He been givin me fuckin attitude and shi, not baggin drugs up when I ask him to, slammin doors here there n everywhere, kids goin fuckin psycho an I ain't havin this shi no more. So get yo ass sorted cuz I ain't y'all's personal fuckin punchbag." Fez said, for the first time ever Lilith heard his voice raise slightly.
Lilith sat speechless for a few seconds, before signing and leaning forward to her bedside table, pulling out a strawberry (rolling paper) blunt and lighting it with her clipper.
Fez just raised an eyebrow and scoffed. "Fuck you doin kid? I'm tryna chat this shit witchu and you fuckin air me like dat?" Fez spat, making Lilith cough through her first drag before she held it out to him.
"Listen, I'm high as fuck right now, but if I'm gonna tell you any shit that's happened with me and your brother, you better get high too. It's a fucking rollercoaster ride." She mumbled, fez instantly giving in as he took the blunt from her numb hands and placing it between his lips, taking a long sharp drag.
Lilith stood up, quickly rushing to shut her bedroom door before returning to her bed and taking another few drags of her blunt, passing it back to fez after.
"Ight, cmon kid, hit me wit that shi."
Authors note: Another slightly shorter chapter but I'm not as mad with this one tbh. Anyway gonna be updating weirdly now as I have school for the next 5 days lol. I'll try update as much as possible, I also write chapters really in advance so that should help a bit. Love u<3
