Phil placed a glass of water infront of Techno who sat with his head in his hands, his fingers roughly latched onto the digits of his pink knots.

Tommy sat on the side closest to Phil, keeping his distance from his brother.
"Right, Techno. You're going to apologise to Tommy, first of all, and then we are going to talk." Phil states as Techno finished his second glass of water before staring at Tommy, the harsh red mark felt like a stab to his chest.. he could only imagine how Tommy felt.
"I-I'm sorry, I-I'm so sorry,
Toms." Techno half-whispered, not being able to look at Tommy for any longer.
"Don't call me that." Tommy spat, standing up and storming off without another word.

Techno had been biting his lip so hard he feared that maybe it would shed off and he would slowly bleed out, though that would hurt considerably less than what he had just done. What he had just put his only brother through, Tommy would be alone now, he had no Techno.. no Wilbur.. and he certainly would never see Ranboo as anything more than someone across the hall.

"We need to talk about this Tech, you said you quit.." Phils voice trailed off at the end,
"I'm not a quitter, Dad." Techno slurs out rolling his head on his hands,
"I thought that you would've quit the first time you realised- fuck, Techno.. you- you're.."
"I'm what? Mental? Insane? Everything that I've already heard?" Techno hissed, remembering how the words rolled so easily off his younger brothers tongue.
"You're my son!" Phil blurts out, though despite the raised voice his tone wasn't angry or even disappointed - it was hurt. Techno wondered if he would rather his dad be angry at him.

Phil sighed heavily, pinching the bridge of his nose as he leant over on the table.
"Techno, why?" Was all he could say despite the whirlwind of words in his mind, each one holding a pained emotion, but he couldn't make enough sense of them to form a sentence.

And Techno did have an answer, he had enough answers that he could spend the rest of his time explaining them all, but he couldn't tell his dad a single one. It would hurt Phil more than he, himself, could ever hurt anyone.. ever hurt Tommy again.

"I.. I don't kn-"
"No, Tech. No. You better have a good enough reason as to why you got so drunk on a Sunday night that you hit your brother or I-" Phil stopped to meet Technos eyes. He had never seen his son so vulnerable, his shaking hands desperately tugging at his hair while he had a neverending stream of tears pouring from glossed over eyes.
"I-..I'm finished here, Techno. Either you give me a reason or I'm calling a rehabilitation centre."

Techno was on his feet now,
"what? Dad- no! You can't- no- Dad! Please! This is blackmail!" Techno chants desperately,
"Techno stop it. I should have done this the first time this all happened, remember? When JSchlatt got you hooked and you didn't stop until it got too late? Fuck, Techno I thought that the schizophrenic diagnosis would've been enough of a wake up call!" Phil raises his voice, not daring to look at how crumpled his son was.. he knew he had gone too far the second the words left his mouth but it was the truth. And someone needed to say it.

"You-you have no idea what you're talking about, dad." Techno spits pointing his finger accusingly,
"I know... I'm sorry.. I jus- I don't know what to do. I mean, do I call your psychiatrist? Is that the best course of action here? I'm sorry you're going through this and I'm sorry you look for something I can't give you in drugs or alcohol, I don't know what to do! You're my son, mate, it hurts watching you throw yourself away like this." Phil says, his tone wandering into something more gentle at the end.
