Ranboo stood lingering outside Tommys door, he could hear soft whimpering & sobs coming from the inside.

He held his hand up to the door before knocking on it, swiftly hearing a come in from the other side.

Tommy peered up at Ranboo with puffy eyes,
"oh it's you. I thought it would have been dad or even Technoblade." The blonde says, using his blue jumper sleeves to wipe at his tears while Ranboo stood unsurely in the doorway.
"W-Would you like m-me to go get t-them?"
"No. No, Techno is the last person I want to see right now and Phil is probably busy with Techno.. or busy missing Wilbur. You can stay in here, if you want." Tommy says, patting his bed for Ranboo to sit next to him - which he did. He wasn't sure why Tommy was being so nice to him but he wasn't about to turn it down, especially not when all the blonde seemed to want was just someone by his side.

"You know what sucks? I could pass a huge exam tomorrow and dad wouldn't care, or notice, he would be too busy missing Wilbur or too busy making sure Techno was sober to remember he has a youngest son. I mean, no offence, he has time for you obviously because you're new. You're autistic. What am I? I have nothing interesting going for me. I'm just loud." Tommy sobs out, his voice cracking with every word,
"I wouldn't s-say that being an a-addict is interesting, or b-being autistic.. or uhm.. m-missing." Ranboo speaks up, once upon a time Tommy wouldve shouted at him. Declaring that his brother isn't an addict and the other one isn't missing, or telling him to not talk of him, but this time he just nodded. A small part of him remembered when Wilbur would've calmed Tommy down, telling him that he wasn't loud and even if he was it didn't matter, but that was all just history now.

"Still, dad has no time for me! Techno just hit me, and he still got the attention." Tommy frowns, sighing as he let his body dramatically fall back into the bed before he looked at Ranboo.
"Can I braid your hair, please? I used to braid Technos all the time when I was upset."
Ranboo shuffled slightly before hesitantly nodding,
"s-sure but isn't m-my hair too short?"
"I'll make it work." Tommy states, smiling widely as he sits on his knees and begins to section small parts of Ranboos hair.
"No offence or anything, but what's your story?" Tommy questions, sectioning 3 parts of the boys hair,
"m-my story?"
"Yeah, like, why are you in foster care?" Ranboo tensed suddenly,
"I- uhm, I never.. m-met my m-mum and my d-dad wasn't f-fit enough. But he's w-working on it, my social worker t-told me that he's g-getting better."
"Eret told you?" Tommy said, overlapping two pieces of his hair,
"y-yeah."
"How did you not meet your mum? What happened?"
"S-She d-died giving b-birt-"
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked." Tommys voice was the quietest and softest Ranboo had heard, like he was stepping on eggshells.
"It's f-fine." Ranboo says, breathing out softly as Tommy tugged roughly on a piece of hair, he wanted to ask Tommy the same question of where his mum was - but he didn't want to intrude.

"We're the same, you know." Tommy begins, shuffling around on his red bedsheets,
"h-how?"
"We've both killed somebody."

Ranboo furrowed his eyebrows, his heart skipping a beat.
"W-What?"
"Our mums, they both died giving birth to us."
"Y-Yeah but.. that- that's not- w-we didn't k-kill them. Who s-said it was?" Ranboo says, turning to face Tommy as Tommy finished braiding his hair slightly,
"Techno did when we were growing up. It was only a couple of times, I don't even think he remembers saying it to me. But dad was always telling him off for it."
"You d-didn't kill anyone, T-Tommy." Ranboo smiles weakly, for a second it was returned before Tommys face dropped and it didn't take long for Ranboo to realise why.

Techno was stood at the door, an unreadable expression on his face.
