"I'm serious. I'm better." I say as the three of us get off the car, "I just got a little freaked out."

"Fine. I won't talk to Abby." Mom says, "But just this time."

"There won't be a next time." I assure her, "I promise."

"Let's go," Giselle says and starts her way to the studio.

After getting ready, we all enter studio "A" for the pyramid.

Giselle had become an official member of the team two weeks ago. It was nothing big, especially because I found out this morning. Kendall also became an official member during the pyramid.

The team's growing!

"We are going to Starbound Competition in Long Island, New York." Abby announces, "Now, I'll tell you what. They are ready for us. They want to beat the Abby Lee Dance Company, and they are serious. They're, like, sharks in the water, they can taste the blood."

She proceeds to reveal the bottom headshot.

"Mackenzie. You did well with your solo the last time, you need to do even better this time." Abby explains, "Nia. Chosen for a special part. Your mom didn't want you to do it. Not a lot to say." She reveals the next headshot, "Paige. You didn't do a solo. You didn't do a duet or trio. So there wasn't a lot to judge you on." She continues, "Giselle. Same as Paige. Only performed in the group dance."

Paige and Giselle smile at each other as Maddie and I try not to laugh.

"Kendall. You're off probation. You're a member of the team. However, we need to fix the feet, the turnout, the back of the knees. You still have a lot of work ahead of you."

Kendall nods.

"Maddie. Did a great job. You were second place, again. Genevieve is giving you a run for your money" Abby explains as she reveals the next headshot, "Next is Chloe."

As Abby explained, I look over to Payton, who looks so happy about being on the top.

I'm still here; I could be the one on top.

"Genevieve."

Scratch that.

"You won your category and was the overall high score. I'm happy with that." Abby says.

I look over to Mom, who looks like she wants to say something. She looks at me and I just smile, basically telling her: "don't do anything".

"I've already said this before and I'll say it again, do not let me down, understand?" Abby says.

I nod in response.

She's happy. I gotta keep it up.

"And, on top of the pyramid--" Abby reveals the top headshot, "Is Brooke."

It was a bit of an awkward situation, especially since we ran to hug Brooke and then had to run back to hug Payton.

Brooke

Genevieve   Chloe    Maddie   Kendall

Giselle   Paige   Nia   Mackenzie

After a lot of drama and an argument, we went back to the typical pyramid preparations.

Brooke, Chloe, Mackenzie, and Maddie all have solos. Maddie's and Chloe's are not shown, but Kenzie's and Brooke's are. Brooke and Giselle managed to get a cool lyrical duet. Chloe and Maddie also have a duet, which isn't going to be shown either.

Nia, Paige, and I managed to get our butts on a seat.

We didn't have anything besides the group dance.

Is that what I get for winning the competition last week?

After the group dance rehearsal, we were all dismissed, so we went to the dancer's den.

"No, that sounds weird." Brooke K. says as we all enter.

"What sounds weird?" Maddie asks as we all sit down throughout the room.

"Kenzie and Riley have to give Annie a tour of the studio." Brooke K. explains, "But they sound like robots."

"It's not my fault that I'm nervous." Riley defends herself.

"What if I do it?" I ask.

"No, you just focus on the show." Riley tells me, "Kenzie and I were the ones that were told to do it, so--"

"--She's here." Nia enters the dancer's den, she's about to enter the building, so I suggest you get moving."

Riley takes Kenzie's hand and they both run out of the room.

"It's not the end of the world," Chloe comments as she drinks some water.

"I know." I agree, "But they've been waiting to know about "Annie" for a while now."

"First, we're going to show you the dancer's den--"

"Frick Riley." Paige says, "Does the place look good?"

"It's not like we're going to show off the place," I tell her.

"It has to look good," Paige says and we all look around.

"It's all clean, it's good, Paige." Maddie tells her, "Now, just relax."

I take out my phone as Paige and Nia start talking. Chloe continues drinking water and Maddie also takes out her phone.

"We usually spend our free time here. It's a good place to calm down and stuff." Riley enters the room, followed by Kenzie and Annie, "Or to make fun of those girls over there."

"Excuse me?" Maddie asks with a smile, "Annie, don't listen to her."

"We are the ones who make fun of her," I add.

"Really?" Riley gasps, "I am offended."

"If you had any idea, RiRi." Chloe tells her, "They just won't shut up about you."

"Yeah, you are probably the most mentioned name in here." Nia plays along, "It's a shame that you didn't know sooner."

"I didn't tell you because I thought you knew." Paige also plays along, "Poor little Riley."

Kenzie and Annie start laughing, soon followed by the rest of us.

"Welcome to the group, Annie." I smile, "I hope it all goes well for you."

"I want a week off." I mutter as I sit down next to Maddie, "I'm tired of this."

"We're just starting the season." Maddie tells me, "So at least you've got a juicy storyline like Brooke's, you will probably not be leaving."

I groan as I put on the seatbelt.

The background music was great. It was the new edition of: "Abby Lee Miller's Complaints Of The World".

In the dressing room, I helped Kenzie stretch, which was scary because I thought I had broken her a couple of times.

Ever since getting off probation, Jill was worst than Cathy, Melissa and Christi combined.

Sorry, not sorry.

All of the solos were amazing, especially Kenzie's, but maybe don't tell Maddie that. The duets were also good.

Kenzie and Maddie were first in their categories.

Chloe was third.

Brooke was also third.

And both duets were first in their categories.

The group dance, which was really fun to perform, was second place.

We had four first-place wins, one-second place win, and two third-place wins.

At least Brooke's back.
