Going into the studio that afternoon felt like a dream.

I had really won two different titles on the same day. The moms weren't exactly thrilled about that and the girls were confused, but I didn't care. I was happy, Abby was happy, she was proud, and that made me glad.

Mom was finally back after months of being gone. That meant that I had to watch out for the mothers because they were probably going to tell her a bunch of lies about Abby and me, something that I don't need at the moment.

I'm doing just what Abby told me: "Focus on dance". I'm now focusing on dance and nothing else.

"Let's talk about Woodbridge, Virginia." Abby starts. "You're tenth-of-a-point losers. It's time to cowboy up here. The Abby Lee Dance Company is somebody to beat. They're not thrilled that they won. They're thrilled that they beat you. You need to challenge yourself. So, if your leg's here, find the girl in class whose leg is here, and go stand next to her at the bar. Fight for that. That's how you get better. You have to win more than I want it for you."

Almost all of the girls looked upset at Abby's reaction. I mean, we lost. We were second place, the first to lose, according to Abby. We just have to get better to win next time and every time from now on.

"Now, I want to talk about this week. We will be traveling to Ohio." Abby announces and everyone groans. "We might see Kendall and we might see Vivi-Anne. All I know is that the Abby Lee Dance Company will be so hot that they will become apple pie, and your group is gonna be like the a la mode. The name of the group dance is "Land Unforgiven". It's about territory. We are going to Cathy's territory. We're gonna stick the stake right into that beef jerky."

Christi was entirely confused, looking at Abby shocked as she shook her face.

It was a funny sight to see.

"Everybody standing before me is in the group dance. However, I'm gonna bring a few ringers in. Just like the Wicked Witch of the West." Abby announces. "So, let's start at the bottom of the pyramid." She reveals the bottom headshot, "Brooke. You're still on probation."

No one was really shocked; Brooke didn't compete last week because of her school dance.

"We have Mackenzie. How'd you get down there?" Abby asks the girl. "What happened?" She then pretends to be chewing something, "How many times did I tell you to spit your gum out?"

"Maybe ten," Kenzie answers in a small voice.

"So, that's nine times too many," Abby explains. "Nia, I think you're there because you had a hard time with those turns, and it was your legs that needed straightening. So, all that technique you worked on, what happened?"

Without waiting for a response, Abby reveals the last headshot on the bottom.

"Giselle. I'd say that you were just there. There's nothing really available to critique you on." Abby continues with the pyramid. "Next, we have Paige. You see that probation sticker? Hopefully, that's gonna come off there." Next one. "Next we have, Chloe. The group dance is where you made the mistake. The solo was good."

Chloe nods in response.

"Next is Maddie. Maddie, you did your solo really well. You got into the characters and left the audience wanting more. It was good." Abby says.

Maddie and Melissa both smile and Abby reveals the first top headshot.

"The first person on top of the pyramid is Genevieve," Abby reveals and I smile. "And, the second person on top of the pyramid, is also Genevieve."

At that moment, the smile on my face disappeared. I furrowed my eyebrows to see that it was, in fact, another headshot of myself.

Why did I have two of mine on top?
