"You're going to break a bone if you keep doing that."

Ignoring our sister's comment, my ten-year-old brother proceeded to jump to the couch from behind, resulting in the piece of furniture bouncing slightly. While my six-year-old self was too busy eating a strawberry-flavored Nestle Parlour popsicle, my siblings wasted no time in getting into a stupid and meaningless brawl right next to me.

I swear, if their antics made me miss Miley Cyrus' performance, this living room was going to become a wrestling ring, and I would not stop until I won the WWE Championship.

But meanwhile, I just wanted to eat my popsicle in peace, so I quickly scurried over to one of the game room's plastic chairs as my siblings managed to take over the entire black leather couch. Turning back to look at the TV, I noticed that the show was back on.

"You guys, I can't hear Joe." With my eyes now glued to the electronic, I tried to get my siblings' attention to no avail.

As the Jonas Brothers proceeded to introduce two more presenters, I was barely able to hear them as my siblings probably cracked a rib or two. Getting annoyed, I grabbed the remote, turned to look at the two, and threw the remote

I was startled awake by my phone's alarm–What an unconventional way to interrupt.

Turning to the left from where I lay on the bed, I pressed the phone's power button to automatically turn off the alarm. After I did that, I turned back to face the room's ceiling, and as my eyelids tried to close again, my body sent an odd shock to prevent that. Pressing my lips into a line, I exhaled through my nose as the consciousness started to rush back into my head.

Last week wasn't my week at all, but luckily, a Sunday signals the start of a new week, and I was going to make sure that this week was my week. After all, it also is Mom's birthday week, as well as JUMP week, last-episode-until-break week, and Grammys week–Today's Grammy day!

With an energy that I had no idea I had inside of me that early in the morning, I sat up on the bed instantly, but fell right back a few seconds later.

Got dizzy from moving too fast.

In a split second, both excitement and nerves started to introduce themselves into my body, and I mentally shook both of them off before carefully sitting up on the bed once again. Since my phone's alarm went off, it meant that it was some time past seven in the morning, and I was supposed to show up at the studio at ten for a final rehearsal before the hectic afternoon started. Looking around the room, I noticed the ray of sunlight coming in through one of its windows–Directly into my eyes.

And I fell back onto the bed again.

Around thirty minutes later, I was sitting at a table across from my best friend. A plate of syrup-drenched French toast sat in front of me as I stared down at it, feeling as my stomach prepared itself to become an Olympic gymnast. On the other side of the table, the brunette softly hit the corner of the round, white ceramic bowl with her silver spoon repeatedly, ignoring the frosted flakes that had become soggy due to the milk inside the container.

While both of us were inside our little bubble, the world kept on moving, shown by the ridiculous amount of clientele that came into the cafeteria on an early Sunday morning. The smell of recently-made coffee lingered in the air as the bell by the entrance rang every few seconds. The early morning newscast reported on the traffic around the area, but nobody seemed to listen as they were all sitting at their tables, either talking with somebody, texting on their phones, or working on their laptops. The three servers scurried all over the cafe, serving whatever the consumers had previously asked for. By the cashier, a line of approximately seven people stood, all of them either waiting to order or waiting to pay for something, as the cafeteria also doubled as a bakery. That also meant that the smell of freshly-baked bread perfectly blended with the coffee's appetizing scent, resulting in arguably one of the world's best combinations.
