Harvey Dent was a little late as he opened the courtroom doors.
"Sorry I'm late, folks," He said as he walked in and took his seat next to Rachel, the Assistant D.A.
"Where were you?" She whispered.
"Worried you'd have to step up?" Harvey asked.
"Harvey, I know these briefs backwards," She told him.
"Well then..." Harvey said, taking out a silver dollar coin from his pocket with a smile. "Fair's fair. Heads, I'll take it. Tails, he's all yours."
"Yeah?" Rachel asked. "You wanna a flip a coin to see who leads?"
"My father's lucky coin. As I recall, it got me my first date with you. After Y/N introduced us," He said.
"I won't leave something like that up to chance," Rachel commented as he flipped the coin. He caught it and then flipped it over onto the top of his other hand.
"I don't. I make my own luck," He said as he moved his hand from the coin. It was heads.
"All rise," The bailff said with the court doing so. "The Honorable Judge Freel presiding."
The defendant, mobster Sal Maroni, looked at Dent. "I thought the D.A. just played golf with the mayor, things like that," He said.
"Tee-off's 1:30," Harvey shot back with. "More than enough time to put you away for life, Sally."
The court then started as Harvey currently had the floor. "With Carmine Falcone in Arkham, someone must have stepped up tp run the so-called family," He said.
The witness that he was questioning, Rossi, nodded his head.
"Is this man in the courtroom today?" Harvey asked.
Rossi nodded again.
"Could you identify him for us, please?" Harvey asked. He turned to Matoni and smiled.
"You win, councilor," Rossi said as there was a short pause. "It was me!"
Harvey turned back to Rossi as Rachel went to grab the written testimony. He then went over to their table to grab the paper. "I've got a sworn statement from you that this man," Harvey said while holding the paper with one hand and then pointing at Maroni with the other. "Salvatore Maroni, is the new head of the Falcone crime family."
"Maroni?" Rossi asked. "He's the fall guy. I'm the brains of the organization."
Harvey turned to the judge. "Permission to treat the witness as hostile?"
"Granted," The Judge allowed.
"Hostile? I'll show you hostile!" Rossi said as he pulled out a pistol on Harvey as the crowd gasped. The trigger was pulled, buy only a clicking noise came from it. Harvey then grabbed the weapon, moving it aside and punched Rossi right in the face.
