Barbara Gordon had her mask clipped to her belt since Y/N, Natasha, and Alfred knew her idenity. She was on the platform that houses the different Batman suits and Black Cat suits. She stood in front of the last suit Felicia wore before the snap as she looked at it.

As she was, Natasha walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. Barbara looked at her. "She dissappeared too, didn't she?"

"It's been hard on the both of us," Natasha replied. "She was our adopted daughter. Sometimes though I think we both forgot that she was adopted."

The Gotham City  Police Department soon arrived at the city dump to arrest the Mutants that were still there while others had fled as a news helicopter flew overhead.

"A total of 83 members of the Mutant gang have been arrested, most suffering from bullet and shrapnel wounds," Lola explained after a segment with Lana Lang from the Daily Planet and Doctor Wolper about Batman's impact on society in these times. On the screen a picture appeared of the Mutant Leader with a bandaged nose and his visor missing as Batman had destroyed it. "Among those captured, is one they're calling the Mutant Leader."

The screen cut to footage of the Mutant Leader having something to say.

"Batman is a coward. I broke his bones. Now, my Mutant army is coming to storm Gotham City," He told them.

The screen cut to video message of the Mutants.

"We will come for our leader. We will kill Bullock. We will raze Gotham and taste its blood. Prepare for war," One of them warned Gotham as the shadows covered them, except for the red of their visors.

"The Mayor had this to say at the current Mutant threat," Lola added when the screen went back to her before cutting to the Mayor.

"I assure you all, that Commissioner Bullock is doing everything he can with the Mutant situation. I also side with the Batman's efforts to stop them. To prevent an attack, I intend to personally sit down with the Mutant Leader to negotiate a settlement."

Channel 2 also aired the same clip of the Mayor as it cut back to the hosts. "What do you think, Trish?  Has the mayor gone nuts?"

"Not at all, Ted. I expect the mayor's credibility rating to go through the roof, especially if he's successful in the Mutant negotiations. I do however, think that if negotiations fail that we need to be ready. Batman, if you are watching, please protect our once good city."

The Mayor was being led to an interrogation room where the Mutant Leader was being held as Commissioner Bullock walked in front of him. They walked past the cells where other members of the gang were locked up. While some cling to the bars, itching to strike the two men down, others sat on the back wall with their heads in their hands. Some even cried. Bullock wondered why, but with everything else that there was to do he just did not have to time to figure out why.

"You're sure you wanna go through with this?" Bullock asked the Mayor.

The Mayor cleared his throat, clearly nervous. "I, um-"

"You don't have to go in alone. I could be in there with you," Bullock offered.

"No, I have to resolve this," The Mayor told him. "He's threatened to kill you too many times. I cannot, in good conscience let you go in with me."

The two approached the room as a guard stood outside of it. Bullock nodded to the guard. He turned and opened the door as they saw the Mutant Leader sitting at the table as he grinned.
