Chapter 6

So sorry. I thought I would be done the fight scene. More of the same thing. Again, so sorry I thought I would've finished that by now. :(

The storm roars loudly in Bucky's ears, he could barely hear the yell of his crew. He could barely tell who was who in the gale. The storm got worse, water splashed over the sides of the ship and it was tipping dangerously, he sees lightning flash against the sky. Soon his own ship starts tugging at the anchor holding it in place; it was waterlogged and was hardly staying afloat. Peggy kept fighting him with a furious look in her eyes. He sighs and puts a bullet in her leg, she cries out and falls to the deck.

He turns his attention back to his boat, getting Peggy's blood on his boots and not caring. The boat starts sinking, too waterlogged, too sodden to last any longer. Somehow, lightening strikes his sinking ship and it bursts into flame, setting the Commando on fire as well as it caught on the remaining dry wood.

Steve sees the fire and hurries to try to help his crew, having dealt with his opponent already, leaving him bleeding out on the deck. He didn't kill him, of course; just cut his leg. Not enough to kill him but enough to take him out of the battle. He wipes the blood off on his tailcoat. By this point it was he, Bucky, Dum Dum, Arnim and Gabe left standing, breathing heavily.

The storm continued to rage around them all; Bucky again takes up his sword and jumps over to fight Steve. They continue to fight until the fire spreads more, to their long forgotten, abandoned guns lying on the deck, their gun powder exposed. Steve shouts out a warning before the fire reaches the powder; whoever was close to it backs away then it explodes, sending woodchips raining down on everyone. Those on board were sent into the raging water below.
