A Pirate's Life

Chapter 4

Steve lets out a soft groan then opens his eyes, his head was killing him but he was otherwise fine. Peggy was by the door of his cabin, watching him with her arms crossed, a worried look on her face. Steve had been unconscious for about two days, and the Commando was sailing around. Trying once again to find the S.S Starchaser, who had lost them in the Hydran rocks, sharp island like rocks jutting out in a certain area in the sea.

"Good to see you awake, Commodore. I was beginning to worry." Peggy says in her strong, clipped British accent. Steve doesn't answer right away, he sits up, rubbing his head, wiping away the dried blood. Peggy walks towards him, still with the concerned look when she sees the dried blood on the Commodore's hands.

"Are you alright?" She asks and Steve nods.
"Are we still on their trail? We didn't lose them, right?" Steve asks her quickly.

"We're searching around, sir, I'm afraid they lost us in the Hydran rocks." She answers and Steve nods. He walks out of his cabin with Peggy close behind. When Dum Dum sees Steve up and moving he walks over and claps a hand on the strong blondes' shoulder.

"So you finally decided to join us. Good to know, sir." He says, Steve nods again then goes to the wheel, since he was technically the captain of the ship. Peggy watches him quietly until someone barks an order, they mill around the boat doing tasks that are needed.

Steve was thinking, he'd been thinking a whole lot. Mainly about how much he kinda loathed pirates. Mainly how much he loathed the crew of the S.S Starchaser. He couldn't really help it, his job and life was to protect people and pirates were exactly the opposite. Always hurting people, stealing, murdering. He had vowed to stop all the pirates before anything horrible happened. Well, any more horrible then it already is.
