y/n was sleepless that night, for no apparent reason as it seemed.
almost on queue shelly let out a soft mumble from the bottom bunk, she had been doing so for the past few hours mumbling inaudible words as she slept.
y/n knew that wasn't the reason that kept her awake at this hour, under normal circumstances she would have had no trouble falling sleep with a little noise.
quietly getting up and climbing down the ladder attached to the bed frame, she flinched a little as her bare feet touched the icy cold floor.
after pulling on some warm socks and clothing, she slipped out of their shared room quietly and left the building.

shivering as she walked outside, warping her arms around herself as she continued on. with no destination in mind she wondered ahead aimlessly, enjoying the peacefully quiet atmosphere of woods.
she gazed up and gasped audibly as she looked up at the stars dotting the night sky, not a cloud insight. she wished that she had a camera on her at that moment, to capture the breathtaking sight.

she froze up as she heard the crunching of the snow under someone's feet, whoever it was they were approaching in her direction fast. looking around she couldn't see anything in the darkness, focusing her eyes in the direction of the movement she watched as a figure appeared from the darkness.
long black hair swaying with each step, the person's face was illuminated by the glow of the moon light. it was honzawa, and she didn't look happy at all.

y/n took a few awkward steps back as the girl got closer, the silence killing her.
"h-hey." she mumbled softly, unsure what else to say. honzawa scoffed and scrawled, "don't get friendly with me, i know what you are doing l/n." she spat.

y/n frowned as she looked at the girl in confusion,"i'm sorry, what?" honzawa only rolled her eyes, "you are trying to take jotaro away from me aren't you? my best friend, i've seen the way you fucking look at him! don't act dumb." she spoke, her voice raising by the second.

y/n almost felt like laughing, it was ridiculous.

"look," y/n took in a deep breath, "i felt like you had a problem with me. but trust me, i do not think of jotaro kujo in that way. we hardly ever talk and we are only working on this project together." she tried her best to calmly explain the situation.

honzawa was quiet for a few moments, her expression unreadable. y/n started to feel slight relief as she seemed to have calmed down.
that was until honzawa suddenly stepped forward,

'slap-'

the loud slap echoed around them, y/n felt her left cheek burning from the sensation. she hadn't even realised what had happened as she touched her cheek in shock. honzawa had slapped her, hard.

"i, hate when people lie to me." she finally spoke, lowly and slowly. eyes burning with hatred.
y/n turned to girl with wide eyes and hand still holding her face, "but i'm not lying honzawa!" she cried, in confusion and pain.

"shut the fuck up." she snapped, taking a few steps back, "poison ivy." she called as a ghostly green silhouette of a feminine body appeared behind her, flowers and vines wrapping all around their body.

"you are a stand user?!" y/n's eyes widened as she jumped back.

honzawa smirked as she twirled a loose strand of hair between her fingers, "that's right, and she's gonna teach this lier a lesson." her face twisted in a evil smile as she giggled.

y/n swallowed hard, 'fuck, fuck! why is she doing this?! i cant even summon my fucking stand properly.' her thoughts were in a frenzy as she turned around and began running.

she was only able to get a few feet away before she felt a sharp pain around her lower calf, looking down she saw one of the vines from honzawa's stand wrapped tightly around her leg, the sharp needles digging deeply into her skin. she cried out in pain as the vine pulled her by the leg with an inhumane strength and threw her against a tree. the wind was knocked out of her lungs as she slammed against the tree, falling down into the snow like a rag doll.
