"alright squirt, here's everything you need for the night." jotaro said as he threw the spare pillow down on the futon.

"thanks." y/n's voice was quiet, it seemed that everyone else in the house had already gone to bed so there was concern of waking someone. even though the house was ginormous and no one could probably hear anything, it is just common curtsey.

"just let me know if you need anything else." jotaro slightly ruffled her hair as he passed by, he seemed to have made it a habit of doing that. a symbolic gesture of their friendship, perhaps?

"goodnight!" y/n called back as she got underneath the blankets, huddling up into a cocoon of warmth. jotaro mumbled a 'goodnight' as he turned and left the room, the sound of the door sliding shut followed by his footsteps fading down the hall.

the girl let out a sigh as she shifted to stare up at the ceiling. letting her thoughts take over finally, so much had happened since she moved to japan. a whole new world of stand users, new friends and the fact that she was just casually staying the night at jotaro kujo's house. her chest felt heavy as she realised that it will hurt when they move again, saying goodbye to her new friends will be hard.

she jumped and pulled the covers over her face as a sudden loud boom of the thunder rang throughout the house. mother nature was truly almighty and powerful and y/n could never get used to it no matter what.

"stop being such a pussy." she muttered to herself as she pulled the blanket down a little more, revealing her scared eyes as they darted towards the window.
another roar of the thunder sent the teen jumping out of her futon with a yelp, as she rolled back her elbow knocked into the desk in the room that caused some books and a lamp to fall.

"fuck-" she cursed as she quickly dove and caught the lamp before it hit the ground, landing on the ground with a soft thud. she groaned as a few of the flying books landed on her, one hitting her on the head.

"i leave you alone for a few minutes and now what are you doing?" jotaro's annoyed face appeared in the dark as he slid the door open again, looking down at the girl sprawled out on the ground holding a lamp in one hand and rubbing her head with the other.

a look of amusement appeared on the boy's face as he watched y/n face drop in horror as she looked back at him.

"oh my god i can explain-" she sputtered out as she quickly tried getting on her feet. another flash of lighting followed by thunder rolled across the night sky, the girl flinched as she covered her head with her arms. "lord have mercy!" she cried in her native tongue.

jotaro let out a deep chuckle, "scared of the thunder?" he asked, almost in a mocking way as he walked over to the girl and squatted down to meet her at eye level. y/n was suddenly too embarrassed to look at him, she was so what relieved that the room was dark as she felt her face burning up in shame. "n-no." she lied, her voice quiet.

jotaro let out a soft sigh, y/n kept her head buried in her knees as she heard the shuffling of feet and movement of fabric before hearing the door slide open again.

"come on. get up." jotaro spoke as he stood by the door, y/n looked up to see him holding her pillow and blanket in one arm. "w-where? you're not kicking me out now are you?!" she asked in a panic.

jotaro smirked before shaking his head slowly, "i'm not having you causing a ruckus in this room, you can sleep in my room with me tonight." he replied.

y/n's eyes were wide as she felt really nervous all of a sudden, "n-no! it's fine! it's just thunder i'll be fine!" she quickly said, turning down his statement.

jotaro furrowed his brows, "that wasn't a offer. get off your ass now." he ordered. y/n shot up off the ground as another boom of the thunder reached her ears, quickly running to the tall boy's side. "okay! your right." she looked around in fright, missing the small smile on jotaro's face.
