Your POV
Hi there, my name is (Y/N) (L/N), and if you recall, I told a story on how I met my new friend, Ichigaya Arisa, who liked the keyboard as much as I did.
And now, what you're about to read is a continuation of that story, but it's going to be slightly different. Enjoy.

After meeting Arisa a few days ago, she was over the moon that she was able to find a... mature friend that likes talking about the keyboard, and I was able to find someone who likes it at all.
Ever since then, she would invite over to her place whenever she was free of her plans. And on top of our love for the keyboard, we would also try to find other things we had in common. And I must say, I was quite pleased by what we've learned.
"Oh, so you liked that story as well?" Arisa said as the two of us were talking about a book I recently read.
"Yeah, I did. The story did made me a cry a little bit." I replied.
Arisa ended up chuckling at what I said.
"What are the odds that you, of all people, would get upset over a book?" She asked, still chuckling.
"I mean, it's very rare." I said.
Arisa and I had a good laugh about this, and after hanging out for another hour, I began to make my way home.

Location - Edogawa Music Shop
I began to make my way home from Arisa's place after having a good time with her. As I was walking, something caught my attention. On display was a drumset that looks fancy and brand new.
"Wow... that looks amazing..." I said to myself.
Apart of me feels tempted to play it, but I shouldn't. After all, I am a keyboardist, and it'll feel like I'll betray Arisa if I did. And so, I sighed and walked off.
_____________________________________________The next day...
Location - Ichigaya Residence, Basement
Something I didn't mention earlier is that Arisa was kind enough to introduce me to the friends she plays music with. They were in a band called Poppin' Party. They were an interesting bunch for sure, especially Kasumi, who is attached to Arisa on a regular basis.
The next day, I was hanging out with them while Arisa was doing her student council duties. Everyone was chatting with each other about the day's events, but I didn't say anything. My mind was on that drum set I saw the other day.
Saaya was the one to notice this and tried to get my attention.
"(Y/N)-kun, are you okay?" She asked.
"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm okay." I answered.
"You've been spacing out for a while." Rimi pointed out. "Is there anything on your mind?"
"Well, I've been thinking about something..." I said.
"What were you thinking about?" Tae asked.
"Well, when I was walking home the other day, I saw this awesome drum set on display. A part of me wants to play it and give it a try, but I feel like I'll betray Arisa if I do." I explained.
"A drum set, huh?" Saaya said, thinking for a moment. "I think I know what you're talking about, but you should bring this up with Arisa, though."
"Do you think she'll be okay with this?" I asked.
"You won't know unless you do it."
I knew Saaya was right. I should be honest with Arisa, and I need to bring it up with her.

I took a deep breath and began to text Arisa once I got home.
Your text: Hey, are you busy?
It took a moment for him to respond.
Arisa's text: Not really. Can't sleep or something?
Your text: No, not really. I wanted to ask you something.
Arisa's text: Sure, what's up?
Your text: How would you feel... if I stopped playing the keyboard and played a different instrument?
Arisa's text: Huh? Where's this coming from?
Well, this is my chance to come clean.
Your text: I saw this drum set on display at Edogawa, and I really wanted to try it out.
Arisa's text: Okay, but what's stopping you, though?
Your text: Right now... it's you.
Arisa's text: Huh? How the hell am I stopping you?
Your text: Well, I feel you'll hate me if I played a different instrument...
That response probably wasn't great, but it was true. And I thought for sure Arisa was going to be mad at me for assuming such a thing, but in the end, she didn't...
Arisa's text: (Y/N), I don't care about that.
Your text: Wait, really?
Arisa's text: Yes. After spending so much time with you, I really do consider you a real friend, even if you stop playing the keyboard.
I bet if I saw Arisa in person, I bet she'll be blushing like crazy. She then sent another message.
Arisa's text: So if you want to be a drummer, go ahead. You don't need my permission to do so.
Your text: Yeah, I guess you're right. Thanks for being so understanding, Arisa.
Arisa: Yeah, no problem...
Heh, even I can tell she was blushing while typing that.
_____________________________________________A few months later...
It took a few months to save up my money to buy the drum set I wanted from Edogawa Music Shop. I was surprised that it was still there to begin with. Maybe they wanted to save it until I could afford it.
Once I got it setup, I invited Arisa over so she could watch me try it out for the first time.
"Wow, that is really cool." She said, smiling.
"Yeah, I think so, too." I replied. "Should I try it out with you watching me?"
"Go ahead."
Arisa sat down and I sat down in front of the drum set, with my two drumsticks in my hands. I was nervous at first, but I think... as long as Arisa is watching me, I don't think I have anything to worry about.
I took a deep breath and I started playing the drums. And my heart started racing with excitement. By the time I was done, I looked at Arisa and she gave a smile.
"Well, not bad if I do say so myself."
"Really? Do you think I can make it as a drummer?" I asked.
"Well, if you practice hard enough, you can make it as a drummer." Arisa smiled.
"Yeah, you're right."
