STEPHEN HAD LEFT TO FIND THE MACCHINA DI KADAVUS, AN ARTEFACT HE BELIEVED TO BE USEFUL IN RESTORING ORDER. With her minimal magic experience, Elizabeth had never heard of it and with one look at Archer, she found that he hadn't either.

The two teenagers sat in the basement waiting for Doctor Strange to make his grand return. Lizard watched them closely, and Elizabeth returned the cold glare each time she heard the shifting of his large body or the faint rumble of his deafening roar. She didn't like him, especially this version of the villain. Why in hell would it be logical for the next step in evolution to be turning into mutated reptiles?

Archer blew out a large breath, spinning around behind Elizabeth. He stared at the roof, a small smirk over his face as the yellow tinged rooftop became distorted to his blurred vision. "How long do you think this will take?"

"Depends," Elizabeth answered, turning around and leaning against a stray table. Her arms were folded, lips lifted into a small grin. It was a drastic contrast to her actual answer: "I've never seen anything this bad."

This made Archer stop his spinning.

"Yes, worlds have collided before. People have been thrown or pulled into different earths too. But the power to succeed in doing that..." she trailed off, wincing at the thought. "Scary big... like I don't think Stephen knows what power it took to do something like this."

Her friend pursed his lips before letting them part to speak. But he took a moment to think over his words. "Considering how you're treating this situation, your making me think this is bigger then just a butchered spell," Archer pointed out slowly. His words were drawn out with hesitance as if sudden fear struck him. "Do you think someone else pushed the spell to do this?"

Elizabeth released a heavy sigh, her shoulders sinking with guilt. "I don't know." She lifted her gaze to look at Archer, watching as he struggled to stand. His posture was slightly crooked and he leant against the chair, forcing a smirk to his lips. "Are you okay, Archery?"

"Hm? Yeah, of course!" he quickly assured with a grin. "I just had to be the one to capture him." Archer raised an arm to point at Doctor Connors. "He put up quite the fight."

Elizabeth glanced over to find Lizard's sharp eye watching them closely. "You captured Lizard?" Elizabeth tried to clarify with a raised eyebrow. Archer nodded and Elizabeth's confusion spiked. "You?" She thought for a moment before a grin lifted onto her face and she presented her fist to Archer. He gladly bumped his fist with hers. "If you're seriously injured, please take time to relax."

Archer shook his head. "No, it's fine. Just a few scratches and some bruising."

Elizabeth didn't believe him.
