 I sat in the staff room eating my lunch when All Might walked in.

"There you are. I was looking for you." He sat down in front of me.

"Well here I am." I gave him a small smile.

"Listen at the meeting, that was pretty smart of you. Rude. But smart."

"I knew what I was talking about so I had to say something. I am sorry if it was rude."

He gave me a small nod. "Usually a hero with your position wouldn't have said anything. I am impressed with how you spoke."

"Thank you."

He was silent for a moment. "I heard that Endeavor offered you a position at his agency."

I nodded. "He did."

"What is it?"

"I am not sure if I am supposed to say."

"I won't say anything if you do tell me."

"I am sorry." I said.

His smile disappeared. "Alright then. I will see you later." He stood up and left the room.

Well that was strange. I know about All Might and Endeavor's rivalry and if I am going to work for Endeavor then I don't want to give All Might any advantage against him.

After teaching at UA I headed to Endeavors agency. The woman at the front desk just pointed to the elevator when I got there.

I barged into the room. "Hello!" I exclaimed.

Endeavor glared at me. "Knock next time."

I stopped in front of his desk. "No I don't think I will."

He rolled his eyes. "The training room is downstairs."

"So let's go then."

He stood up and I followed him out of the room.

The training room was huge. There were a bunch of obstacles and equipment. Endeavor took me to an empty area. He stood on one side and I on the other. "I want to see what your quirk can do against mine."

"Okay."

"I am going to use my quirk over there," He pointed to the corner of the area. "Stay where you are and see if my fire goes through it."

I raised my eyebrows. "We already know it won't." I rolled my eyes.

"How do you know?"

"Because I can cut off any quirk where my darkness is. Plus I have tried it with fire quirks before." I said thinking of Dabi.

"Well let's make sure." He punched the air and fire flew out from his fist into the corner.

I covered the area in darkness but it didn't stop his fire. What the hell? I tried even harder but the wall in the corner started to burn.

His fire disappeared and I stopped my quirk. I looked down at my hands. Why didn't it work?

Endeavor walked over to me.

"That was not supposed to happen! Every other quirk I have gone against stopped. That has never happened before even with fire quirks! What the fuck!" Anger coursed through me. "Why didn't it work?" I yelled at him.

"I don't know." He said calmly.

"This is so unfair."

"Maybe because my fire is brighter than others." He said.
