Not Your Fault (Yu Ijin x OC Fanfic)

Part 9 : Hospital

Ijin was waiting for his little sister quietly outside the mental health institute room in the SW Hospital. While waiting, his mind got occupied with the thought of someone.

'Has she woken up?' Ijin sighs when he thinks back again at the time they had arrived at the hospital.

The doctor had immediately rushed them to the ER room to get the treatments and the doctor gasped when she saw all the injuries in Hana's body.

"There's a whip wound that hasn't completely healed all over her body, there's also a fresh wound coming from a bullet on her shoulder, here, on her neck side there's a bruise from strangulation. It seems she has lost too much blood and had fever from the infected wound" The doctor explained it to her other colleagues as they work together to treat the heavy injuries on Hana's body.

Ijin, who had been placed beside Hana to receive his treatment, frowned when he heard the doctor's explanation. He can't help but to clench his fist hard from the anger that rises up inside of him.

"U-Um..Sir?" The doctor that's assigned to treat Ijin's head injury got scared by the look Ijin had on his face and he shakily asks Ijin if there's anything wrong. Ijin realizes that his anger was shown on his face so he tries to calm himself back and then tells the doctor to continue his treatment.

When the doctors that's assigned to treat Hana have finished their treatment, they walk to Ijin side to talk about how she can get those heavy injuries.

"We have treated her injuries for now and will wait for her to get her consciousness back. It's a miracle how she can still survive with that many injuries. May I ask what is your relationship with the girl?" The doctor asks Ijin and he hesitates for a moment before replied to the doctor's question. He found it ridiculous that just now he almost answered that Hana was his girlfriend.

"She's my classmate" Ijin answers to the doctor as he feels it's not right if he says they're in a relationship since he hasn't told Hana about his feelings towards her.

"*sigh* Well, I don't think I should tell her condition right now to her parents. Judging by the scars on her body, it seems like she got abused at her home" The doctor explained it to Ijin.

"Yes, it seems like that's the case" Ijin agreed with the doctor's judgment as his gut also had been telling him that there's something wrong with Hana since the day he discovered that stain on her uniform.

"Oppa, did you wait long?" Ijin got back to reality when he heard Dayun's calling for him.

"No, what did the doctor say?" Ijin asks Dayun about her treatment.

"There's nothing to worry about, he just told me to come once a week" Dayun replied to her big brother with a smile on her face to not make her brother worry.

"I see" Ijin smiles when he hears that Dayun's okay.

"What about you and Hana Unnie?" It's Dayun's turn to ask about the condition of both her brother and Hana.

"I just have some bruises and a small cut on my head, while Hana's in more critical condition, but her injuries have been treated so we should just wait for her to regain her consciousness back" Ijin replied to Dayun's question.

"I see" Dayun looked down when she heard about Hana's condition. She felt guilty when she remembered back again to the time where Hana took the bullet for her.

"Dayun" not far from where Ijin and Dayun stand, Yuna called Dayun name and walked towards the two of them. She asks about their condition and apologizes to them for causing all this trouble.

"I just visited Hana ward and she still hasn't regained her consciousness" Yuna informs them of the situation Hana's in right now that makes the three of them down with gloom while the bodyguard that's standing by Yuna side could only avert his eyes when he don't know how to handle the depressing mood.

Dayun's the first to break the dreary mood by asking how Sukjoo is doing. So, the three of them decide to go visit Sukjoo because Dayun wants to thank him for saving her yesterday.

After arriving at Sukjoo ward, they have a little chat and ask each other about their conditions.

"Goodbye, take care of yourself" Dayun gives a farewell after she had finished what she wanted to do and then both she and Ijin walk out from Sukjoo ward.

On their way to walk out from the hospital, Dayun suddenly stops on her track and turns to face Ijin.

"Oppa, if you want, you can go visit Hana unnie in her ward" Dayun says to Ijin because she knows that Ijin has been worried about Hana since the start but didn't show it on the outside.

"Do you want to visit her?" Ijin asked Dahyun when he heard about what Dahyun state just now.

"No, I'll go back home first" Dahyun said while fidgeting with her hands.

"I'll walk you home" Ijin said that and started to walk again but he got stopped by Dayun's hand that's grabbing on his shirt.

"I can walk home by myself. Actually, right now I don't have the courage to go see Hana Unnie when she's laying there with her eyes closed...so for me..." Dayun looks down as she can't seem to finish her sentence.

"I understand. I'll visit her after I walk you home, okay?" Ijin pat Dayun on her head and then both of them continue their walk back home with Dayun facing down as she tries to hide the tears that are coming out from her eyes.

On the other side, Jung Woon has come to inform Mr. Lee about the situation Hana is in.

"What?! The hospital?" Mr. Lee was furious when he heard that Hana was in the hospital and more importantly it was at the hospital that's owned by SW.

"That useless brat! Why is she there?!" Mr. Lee angrily ask Jung Woon.

"The information states that she got involved in the kidnapping of the SW granddaughter" Jung Woon explains it to Hana's father while deep down he's kind of glad when he heard Hana was getting the treatment in SW hospital.

'At least he can't do anything rash if she's there' Jung Woon took a glance at Mr. Lee when he thought about that.

"So, she got kidnapped and ended up in hospital? Where's all the training that I have spent my money for her to learn?! Did I just waste my money for nothing?!" Mr. Lee was glaring at Jung Woon when he said that.

"It seems like it's because the wound on her back has not fully healed yet..." Jung Woon was stating the fact when suddenly Mr. Lee threw a scissor in his direction which made a scratch on his left arm.

"Are you trying to say it's my fault now?" Mr. Lee slowly walked to where Jung Woon stood and told Jung Woon to pick up the scissor he had thrown just now and hand it back to him.

"Jung Woon, don't forget who you're working with" Mr. Lee taps the scissor at Jung Woon's face

"Did you forget which hand your daughter is in right now?" Mr. Lee looked at Jung Woon with a smirk displaying on his face after he told the weakness he had about Jung Woon.

"S-Sir!" Jung Woon was taken aback when he heard Mr. Lee talks about his daughter.

"That's right Jung Woon, I can end your daughter's life just with one command from me. But what that foolish daughter of mine can do to help you? She can't even help that sick mother of her" Mr. Lee chuckles and uses the scissor that has been on his hand to pierce Jung Woon arm that has been scratched by him before.

"Ugh..." Jung Woon falls down on his knee when he receives the stab from the scissor.

"Prepare the car, I'm going to visit that useless daughter" Mr. Lee orders Jung Woon before he walks out from his office.

'That devil' Jung Woon clenched his teeth hard, holding back his anger for his own weak self.
