Not Your Fault (Yu Ijin x OC Fanfic)

Part 18 : Visit

"Unnie, are you still going to wait for Oppa?" Dayun yawned and rubbed her eyes when she felt the sleepiness come to her.

They had already finished washing today's dinner dishes, not forgetting to leave some meal for Ijin to eat when he comes back and they decide to watch the TV to pass the time while waiting for him.

"Yeah, you should go take a rest first. You must be tired from preparing the dinner" Hana suggested to Dayun and Dayun agreed with her so she went to her bedroom after saying goodnight to Hana.

"He's late" Hana hugged her knee on the couch and mumbled to herself after she's left alone in the living room.

She's actually already feeling the fatigue inside her but, she forces herself not to sleep as she felt restless when Ijin's still hasn't come back.

Luckily, there's a clicking sound coming from the entrance door, indicating that it's getting unlocked and there came Ijin still in his school uniform.

"You're home" Hana quickly springs herself from the couch and runs towards Ijin. She hugged Ijin as she finally could feel relief from the tension after feeling his warmth.

Ijin was startled at first when somebody suddenly hugged him tightly but he relaxed after he saw that it was Hana who had embraced him.

"Why are you still awake?" Ijin brought his hand to gently caress Hana's head and he could feel the tiredness inside him before, slowly vanishing just by looking at her.

"I'm waiting for you" Hana let go of her embrace and went to remove Ijin backpack and blazer.

She told Ijin to have some dinner that's already been prepared by Dayun while she went to place his blazer at the laundry basket and place the backpack in the bedroom.

After she finishes, she goes back to take a seat in the dining room and watches happily at Ijin who's eating his dinner right now.

"How's your work?" Hana starts the conversation and Ijin chuckles when he sees the gleeful look on her face.

"It's normal" he replied to her and went to have another bite of his meal.

"Is it hard?" Hana asked another question.

"It's not" Ijin replied to her and she hummed in response.

"Didn't we seem like a husband and wife?" Hana squeals after she says that, and covers her face from the embarrassment she's feeling.

"*chuckle* we could practice it beforehand" Ijin state and both of them were enjoying their moment even though they didn't have another conversation after that.

Ijin had finished his dinner and told Hana to go back to the room to sleep first but, she declined because she wanted to wait for him to finish washing the dish and shower, so he just let her do what she want and quickly finish washing the dish and take a shower to not make Hana wait too long.

After he finishes his shower, he goes to the living room where Hana decides to wait for him and can't hide his chuckle when he sees that she already lost herself in deep sleep on the couch.

"What's with all that determination before?" Ijin walks quietly to Hana's direction, careful not to wake her up and gently carry her from the couch to the bed inside his room.

He slowly places her on the bed and covers her with the blanket before going to switch off the light.

He goes back to sit on the floor beside the bed and stare at Hana's sleeping face with the light from the moon outside the window luminating her face which makes it look mesmerizing.
