At the school corridor, many students are whispering to each other about what they're focusing on right now, there was Hana and Ijin, walking together side by side to their classroom.
"H-Hana Sunbaenim" A girl suddenly comes to approach Hana with a blush on her face. She hands Hana a bag full of cookies while keeping her eyes shut, not daring to look at the person that she's intending to hand the cookies to.
Hana looks at the girl with confusion clearly expressed on her face. The girl then mustered up her courage to look at Hana after she could feel that Hana still hadn't taken the cookies from her.
"T-This is my show of gratitude when sunbae helped me from falling into the gutter before, Please accept it" The girl looked up at Hana with a bashful look, while Hana try to remember the event but then, shrug her shoulder when she can't seems to recall it and take the cookies from the girl hand.
"Actually you don't need to bother to give me a gift for something like that but, I'll accept it. Thank you" Hana smiled sweetly at the girl to show her appreciation for the gift.
In that second, all the students who's watching that scene couldn't bring themselves to look away as their focus was on the rare sight of Hana's smile.
"So beautiful..." a male student spoke spontaneously while giggling like a drunk person after seeing Hana's smile.
Ijin, who was also caught in a daze, finally woke up when he heard the male student statement. He hurriedly held Hana's hand to bring her away from the crowd and go into their classroom.
"Oh Ijin-" Lee Jaehyung cheerfully calls out to Ijin when he saw him at the classroom door, but falls silent right after he saw who was the person going along behind Ijin.
'They're holding hands?!' All the students inside the classroom were too stunned to speak as all their focus was on the two students that just casually came into the classroom while holding hands.
All of the students' eyes still haven't looked away even when the couple already let go of their hand and take their seats.
They still silently watch Ijin and Hana interaction using the end of their eyes as Hana opens up a package that contains cookies in it and turns back to face Ijin to share the cookies that she had taken the first taste of.
"*chuckle* How can you eat messily" Ijin brings his thumb to wipe the cookie crumbs that's left at the tip of Hana's lip, while Hana just smiles sheepishly at his remark.
'What sorcery!'
'Am I hallucinating?'
'Is this a nightmare?!'
The students inside the classroom unionly talk inside themselves with mixed feelings, some in disbelief, some heartbroken, while some still in daze. While the three friends, which is Park Yeongchan, Lee Jaehyung, and Ju Hyukjin gasp dramatically when they witness the other sides that they haven't seen from both Ijin and Hana.
"What's the meaning of this?!" Lee Jaehyung exclaimed loudly while banging at Ijin's desk.
Hana, who saw how Jaehyung acted, was displeased by it and stood up from her seats, glaring at him which startled Jaehyung, he quickly tried to explain the situation to her as Hana seems to haven't learned about the new relationships yet, between Ijin and the other three.
"W-Wait! Hana-ssi! Don't misunderstand, I didn't mean anything bad. In fact, me, Hyukjin, Yeongchan and Ijin were friends" Jaehyung raised both of his hands in a surrender pose and frantically explained to Hana about their relationships before Hana decided to give him a beating.
"Friends?" Hana turns to look at Ijin who hasn't move from his seat when he looks at the scene unfolding before him.
"Yes, the four of us have become friends and have done what school friends usually do" Ijin smiles while looking at Hana who's still standing beside him and he holds her hand to bring her back to her seat.
Jaehyung put both of his hands on his chest and let out a heavy sigh, relief that he's saved from the danger he almost faced.
"What school friends do?" Hana asked curiously as she didn't know what usually students do with their friends after school.
"We usually go to play in the arcade, karaoke, or having dinner together" Ijin ruffles Hana's hair when he sees how she's being adorable with her curiousity while the three friends just go back in their seats and do their own business, not intending to disturb the couple moment.
"Is it fun?" Hana asks again with sparkles in her eyes which even make Yeongchan who's sitting beside Ijin can't help but blush from her cuteness.
"Do you want to try?" Ijin asks her and Hana nod eagerly at him and in the end, they agree to go to the arcade together after school.
Halfway through the class, both Hana and Ijin were called out as there's people who wanted to meet them. They have different rooms for their meetings, so they part halfway. Ijin was having a meeting with Yuna's grandfather while Hana was meeting with Jung Woon.
[ Hana and Jung Woon meeting room ]
"Young miss" Jung Woon bow politely at Hana before he spoke about his reason for coming here to meet her.
"Young miss, are you planning on going back?" Jung Woon asks Hana if she still wants to go back to live in the family mansion.
"No, discard that house and find me a place to live near Ijin's place" Hana answered without thinking twice regarding the matter of returning to the place that's full of her nightmares and agonies.
Jung Woon nodded his head, expecting that answer from her and proceeded to ask his second question.
"What about the company, miss?" Jung Woon asks if Hana wants to run the family business or decides to abandon it. Hana took her time on this question to think about it before she gave her answer.
"Please take care of the company for me in the time being before my graduation. I'll continue to run the business...as it was originally mom's company" Jung Woon nodded his head again and agreed to take care of the company for the time being for the young miss.
"Then about Mister and Madam..." Jung Woon seems to hesitate to continue his statement but Hana understands what he want to say so she just simply reply to him.
"For father, just do some private ceremony. Meanwhile, please search for mom's whereabouts and look for the cause of my parent's conflict" Hana clenches her fist when she's wondering who is the person and what is the cause for the dispute in her family.
"I understand, miss" Jung Woon took out an envelope and card with an account book out from his bag and gave it towards Hana.
"Here, this is some pocket money that I've prepare for young miss, if it's not enough, please contact me as I'll immediately send you any amount you request, miss" Hana accepts the card and the envelope with the cash in it. She could feel the thickness inside the envelope and look at the many zeroes inside the account book.
"Uncle, are you sure this is the pocket money where students would bring around?" Hana looks at Uncle Woon in disbelief with the amounts of money she had in her hand right now.
"Yes! Why not?" Uncle Woon confidently said with pride in his eyes.
"*sigh* Fine, thank you for your hard work Uncle Woon" Hana bow her head to show her gratitude at Jung Woon and it made him panic as he rushed to Hana and told her not to do it.
"And please live happily with your daughter from now on" Hana returns back to her position and gives a hearty smile to Uncle Woon which makes him stunned in his place.
"Uncle..." Hana walks towards Jung Woon and places her hand on his shoulder, trying to comfort him.
"Why are you still crying when you're already this old?" Hana tries to lift the mood while Jung Woon is still sobbing silently, he just felt glad and thankful in this moment.
'I'm so bad that I would feel glad for someone's death' Jung Woon finds himself to be a wicked man who has been delighted by his late boss' departure to the after life.
