Chapter 45: Bombshell

"Get out of my way, asshole!!"

"I won't let you win, Bombshell!!!" She then drew herself further ahead before doing the same thing. Poor Tony went flying.

"Cherry!!!" I yelled, before turning off my motorcycle and running up to him. I placed him over my knees. Supporting him the best I could, before looking at all the damage. It was bad. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry Cherry... Kaoru..." Tears cascaded down my cheeks, as Kaoru attempted to reach out for me, however, I got pulled up and away. I was turned, to meet the person who did this.

"Aw~ Looks like Victory Curls came out to play." Everything was ripped away. My hat, my glasses, and my hoodie. I was on full show for the entirety of 'S' to see. What is this feeling? It started out small, and then it started to take over my mind. Bombshell seeped through the cracks as my breath became more and more rampant, uneven, and erratic. "What's with the face little תפוח~? You look so angry~" I snapped.

"Bombshell!!!" I yelled out, before I was thrown to the side. I didn't care if I acted like a wild animal. I attempted to rip out his hair and eyes, however, a pair of arms held me.

"(Y/N), calm your ass down!!" The holder spoke, as I continued to try to rip free from their hold. The perpetrator was no one other than Joe, the other person that deserved to get justice for everything Adam has done.

"I'm going to kill him!! Let me go, Joe, let me go!!!" I screamed, thrashing around hopelessly.

"(Y/N)." He spoke, turning me to meet his gaze once more. Those beautiful brownish-red eyes, brought me out of my insanity, "Please..." He pleaded, before he held me close for a moment. When he thought I was calm downed enough, he put me down before racing over to his friend, "Kaoru! C'mon, get up." I went with him, resuming my position, next to Cherry.

"You know, I really thought this would be more fun. But that little race against Cherry turned out to be a bomb." I didn't focus on Adam anymore. All my attention was on Cherry Blossom, in a state of lost consciousness. He was still breathing, but I couldn't help but feel like he was on the brink of dying.

"Seriously? Son of a bitch." Joe cussed, before Shadow pulled up.

"Get in! We gotta jet to the hospital! Wrap it up!" Joe took Cherry into the car, as I climbed on my motorcycle again. I followed close behind forgetting everything else. I stayed there all night, sleeping right next to him after he was treated. Kojiro held me close when I wasn't able to be right beside him, and when I could be. I didn't lay my gaze away.

"Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, now and forever. Amen." I prayed.

The sun was close to rising over the land, and school was starting in a couple hours. Joe took me home, as I got ready in a daze. Before Joe could leave, I grabbed his arm sleeve, gripping it ever so tightly, "Joe... can you sleep at the house, until my brother comes back in a couple days?" Before he could say anything, I let out a desperate, "Please!" He nodded his head, before I walked to school. On my lonesome. Reki skipped school that day, after all, he wasn't in his seat. At lunch, Langa took me up to the roof before giving me half of his sandwich.

"Have you been doing okay, (Y/N)?" I shook my head, before biting into the bread, tomato, turkey, and everything else.

"I didn't sleep..." I responded, before taking another bite, "I was at the hospital with Cherry until a couple hours ago." Tears formed in my eyes. I couldn't help but feel like this was my fault. After all, I read this in my brother's file once, about this move that he only uses when Adam is done with you. I didn't say anything... again. I felt a hand being placed on my shoulder. I looked to Langa. He didn't say a word, instead, he hugged me tight, telling me sweet nothings. After school ended, I checked my phone to see a text from Joe. He told me to get some things for dinner and for Kaoru. I obliged needing to get my mind off of things. I took the long way, before heading into the grocery store. I grabbed everything I needed to before leaving. An open market came into view, which I couldn't resist. Seeing a flower stand, I bought a bouquet of pink flowers, before turning to meet eyes with Oka.
