I should, if I had deliberated, have replied to this question by something conventionally vague and polite; but the answer somehow slipped from my tongue before I was aware, "No, sir." The blue-haired male hesitated for a moment, completely flabbergasted. He had little to no clue how to respond, so I decided to do so, "I apologize. I didn't mean to sound so blunt. I shouldn't have said that so easily, considering that it was to give an unprepared answer to a question about appearances. Tastes mostly differ I suppose; and beauty is of little consequence, or something of that sort."
"My, you talk so different then the wonderful night we shared~" He cooed, before getting up from his seat to walk around my chair. "As a politician, do you know what I love most?" I shook my head, before he answered promptly, "Bluntness, of course! Blunt answers, such as yours, says a lot about you and your current emotions from talking to me as we speak. So, due to your answer, I can't help but feel a little hurt~ Go on: what fault do you find with me, pray? I suppose I have all my limbs and all my features like any other man?" I bit my tongue, considering that Bombshell was one word away from slipping out. I didn't necessarily have to keep this job, but something told me that getting fired would ruin my life.
I knew from the moment I first made eye contact with this man, that he was the epitome of danger. I wasn't going to let Bombshell go at it. "It was a blunder sir. I apologize."
"Hm~ No fun~" Coming to my rescue, Tadashi opened the door. "Well, I would see you off, but I have something more important to attend to. See you in two days, תפוח." Was all he had to say before I was drove home. This whole experience was too weird. Even for me. 'I knew Adam would be like this, but I never would have guessed that he would be so...' I couldn't think of the right words, even in my head. Once I got home, I thanked Tadashi, before going into the house to hide the envelope from my brother. He wasn't home himself, which I found a little odd. Halfway through making dinner, my brother came through to door. We greeted each other; however, I was still conflicted.
Upon walking home Tuesday afternoon, I was all alone. Both Reki and Langa had to go home to do some chores and errands, so I was the only one walking on the sidewalk. The cherry blossoms had fallen out of season as I missed the beautiful color of the leaves. Summer was soon approaching, and the one thing I missed back in America was a three month long break. In Japan, the break was only a month at most. This gave me a sad feeling in the pit of my stomach; however, I bared the pain. Suddenly wanting something on the sweeter side, I decided to go into Joe's restaurant. Once inside, I found it rather bustling. Sitting at the bar stool, I looked to my left to see Kaoru.
"(Y/N), what are you doing here?" He questioned, as I gave him a quick smile.
"Oh, I wanted something sweet, and I didn't feel like going home, so... here I am. What are you doing here?" I queried in response, before he looked away all together.
"I just got some business done is all. Nothing too important." Kaoru stated, as I nodded in affirmation. My eyes constantly trailed over to the pink-haired man as I stared at his glistening locks. I had noticed it before, but Kaoru was a handsome looking man. Suddenly, a memory of Adam asking me if he was handsome shot through my head before I shook it out violently. "Are you alright, (Y/N)?" He inquired, as I nodded a little, hoping I didn't look too suspicious.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I was just remembering something embarrassing is all." I answered, as we continued to sit there. Taking out some homework, I started to write down some equations as Kaoru looked over my shoulder. I would look at him every so often, however, just a single stare made him turn away. Finishing, the occupants in the restaurant dispersed.
"Hey, (Y/N). Sorry I couldn't take your order. I was kind of swamped." Joe apologized, standing in front of me as he leaned against the counter. His biceps came into view before I asked myself if Joe was handsome. With his muscles, sure. I was positive that girls liked stronger men due to sexual instinct, however, without out all of it, was he really all that? I guessed that Kojiro was pretty nice, but... without his muscles, he wasn't much to look at. However, what do I know.
