When Clarke opened her eyes again memories of a dream flashed quickly through her mind. Her mother was with her in the Nano ship med bay. She was hugging Clarke tightly but Clarke was extremely sleepy. Her arm was also stinging relentlessly.
That was all Clarke could remember but it was enough to start connecting dots. She looked down at her arm and her theory was confirmed. There was a black chip imbedded on the top part of her right forearm. She immediately tried to feel the device with her left hand but realized it wasn't moving. She was strapped down into a landing seat. That's when it hit her. She was inside of the flight control deck, strapped in her chair tightly. Clarke looked around quickly, now drawn out of her sleepy trance to notice she was surrounded by other people. There must have been at least 25-50 other people in the massive room, all strapped in same as her. Clarke hadn't ever been on the Skai Cruiser ship but she assumed there must have been another larger flight deck in which the other prisoners were strapped in for landing. The room was filled with worried conversation and the occasional grunts as people attempted to break loose of their bonds but everyone fell silent when a massive holographic display at the front of the flight deck lit up, displaying a three dimensional hologram of the council's table, the chancellor and his 6 senators all in their prospective places.
The hologram was very detailed and the combination of that detail as well as Clarke's proximity to the front of the flight deck allowed Clarke to see all 7 people before her extremely clearly. Clarke watched her mother's face carefully, noticing how broken and sad she appeared compared to the other counsel members whose faces remained stoic and unmoving.
"Hello." Chancellor Jaha spoke, rising from his seat at the head of the council table to address the prisoners. "I know you are all surprised to find yourselves here in the Skai ship with no warning. For that I offer my sincerest apologies."
The flight deck filled with whispers but when Thelonious cleared his throat, everyone quickly fell silent again.
"I'm sure you are all wondering what you are doing here. The truth is, the answer is rather complicated. As you are all aware, Arkadia is a rebel society that lives among the starts in amazingly large and glorious space cruisers, jetting off from solar system to solar system with the sole purpose of spreading the rebel agenda and fighting back against The First Order. We are one of hundreds of thousands of people who are still out here fighting against the tyrannical advances that Snoke and his first order are trying to pursue. Our job, unlike many other large groups of rebels requires something special. Most Arkadians are unaware of this fact but within the last year, the Arkadian Rebel Fleet has been tasked with finding a group of people who are believed to be very strong weilders of the force and escort them back to the brand new Jedi training temple on the planet Coruscant before the Sith, Darth Pyris, can get a hold of them."
Again the ship filled with shocked responses. Everyone had thought Darth Pyris was dead. Everyone except Clarke who for some reason always knew he was still alive and the legends of Thelonious Jaha to be false deep down.
"Silence." Senator Kane spoke loudly, immediately gaining the flight deck's attention once again.
Thelonious nodded towards Kane. "Thank you Senator. As I was saying, this mission is of the upmost significance and we have reason to believe that this group of young prodigies is living in a humble and even quite primitive camp somewhere in Naboo. The actual members of Skai Crew who's ship you occupy today are all boarded on the Drako ship so that they may locate this group of future Jedis without suspicion and resistance. You will all serve as a distraction. Your job is to land in the capital city of Theed to draw away Darth Pyris's attention long enough for the Drako boarded Skai crew to sneak away, locate the secret camp, and bring the force strong youths that the rebel leaders want us to locate to Coruscant for their Jedi training. I know this may come as a surprise to a lot of you. Not only am I aware of the legends that have taught you that Darth Pyris is already dead, but I also am sure this mission seems overwhelming. Your role however is essential in completing-"
