After weeks of recovery, UA decided that the students were able to go back. Y/n tried convincing her dad to let her drop out of UA and go to a regular high school, but he wouldn't let her, that the choice he made was "for her own good" as if he knew her more than she knew herself. Nonetheless, school would never be the same. UA would be the number one topic on every news site, and the gossip kids would never shut up about.

Y/n dreaded stepping foot on campus again after the USJ attack and the article written about her. Who knows what was going to happen. Once she walked through the giant gates, she heard the cheers of all the students. When USJ got attacked, the whole school had to shut down till the principal allowed everyone to come back. Y/n assumed the kids who weren't a part of the attack were upset that school shut down. Since no other students had to experience the raid, everyone was excited for the gates to reopen. Y/n envied the excited children, those who didn't have to fight real villains, the children who didn't fear their lives or had to be responsible for other people's lives.

Midoriya kept looking back at Y/n. She had her head down in her arms on the desk. He wanted to make sure she was okay and to thank her for saving him. He had a gift set for her but didn't know if it was the appropriate time to hand it to her. She looked exhausted as if she didn't want to be bothered.

"Soo Tsu, who do you think will teach class today?" Mina asked, leaning back into her chair and allowing herself to get close to Tsu, who was behind her.

Tsu hummed in response, not knowing what to say. "I think Aizawa is still recovering."

Y/n felt her throat become itchy, she tried to swallow saliva to try and make it feel better, but there was nothing. Her whole mouth was fully dry. The scene of Y/n seeing Aizawa covered in blood, passed out on the floor kept replaying in her head. Hearing her classmates talk about him and how he was badly injured reminded her that she could have helped him. Maybe Aizawa wouldn't have gotten hurt if she were like her dad.

Midoriya got up, finding the confidence to walk up to Y/n and hand her the gift. But right as he was approaching her desk, the door slid open.

"Good morning, class."

Iida jumped out of his seat, "Mr Aizawa! I'm glad you're okay," He exclaimed

Aizawa slowly walked to his pedestal while responding to Iida, "My well being is irrelevant. There are much more important matters" he took a deep breath in "The UA sports festival."

All the students sighed, relieved that they wouldn't fight another villain. Slight mumbles were heard around the classroom. Everyone was still shaken up by the villain's attack and adding a festival where thousands of people could watch didn't seem like the best idea.

"The villains just attacked, and the school wants to hold a festival? What if they attack while we are together?" Jirou said

All the students nodded, agreeing with what Jirou was worried about

Aizawa listened to his students' concerns, he couldn't fully disagree with them, but this was out of his control. "The administrators think this is a good way to show that the threat has been handled and our school is safer than ever. Plus, they are adding more security than ever". Aizawa walked over to the door again. "Including us. Class, meet Nozomi. My new assistant."

He slid the doors open, revealing a girl with gray/white-ish hair, Bright cyan eyes, a blazer that complimented her slim figure, purple jewelry, and black pants that shaped her waist.

"Principle Nezu thought it would be a good idea if class 1-A had extra help and protection. Treat her with respect" Aizawa finished introducing the new addition to class. "Now, this festival is a huge opportunity for UA students, and I want everyone to do their best". After he finished announcing everything he needed to, the class was dismissed.
