"You won!" Mina embraced Y/n tightly. She was proud of her friend and how far she's come.

Mina and Y/n walked alongside together out of the school. She was thankful the Festival was over and ready to go and remind her father about the promise he made if his daughter did win. Y/n thought it would be a good idea if Mina meant her parents. She was her closest friend and wanted her parents to have that trust in Mina.

"Will they like me?" Mina grabbed onto Y/n's arm. Her jitters got to her at the thought of Y/n's parents not liking her. She was more worried about her dad. He was a retired pro, so she wanted to try her best to gain his respect.

"They'll love you. Don't worry," Y/n resurrected her friend. She looked through the crowd, searching for her parents. Her mother texted her beforehand to wait near the gate, and they'll pick her up but trying to look for them was difficult. Everyone's parents, regular civilians, and pro heroes, including UA's facility were there.

"Is that them?" Mina pointed at a couple. The man in a suit, one golden band on his ring finger and silver bands on his remaining finger, his hair slicked back but strains hanging in the front. And the woman, wearing a dress that snuggled her curves, hair in a bun, no-fly away poking out, a silver necklace with a heart locket, a gold ring with a tattoo that slithered down her hand and around her wrist.

Y/n nodded, grabbing Mina's hand tightly and walked toward her parents. She was slightly shocked that Mina could point them out. Sure, they stood out compared to the rest of the people in regular clothes or hero costumes, but it was still hard for her to see them. "How did you know they were my parents?" She whispered, not looking back at Mina but trying to gently push the crowd and go to her mom and dad.

Mina laughed at herself a little. They resemble Y/n perfectly. "It's obvious that you're their child."

Y/n stopped for a moment, looking at her parents, trying to see if she saw any of her features in them. "Eh, I don't see it" she shrugged her shoulders, and after a few more gentle pushes, she finally made it to her family.

"Sweetie," M/n pulled her into a hug, planting a kiss on her forehead.

"My winner," F/n playfully punched his daughter in the shoulder before wrapping his arms around Y/n's waist and lifting her in the air, planting another kiss on her forehead.

"And who are you, darling?" M/n asked

Mina smiled, extending her arm out for a handshake. "I'm Mina. Nice to meet you, Mrs. L/n and Mr. L/n."

F/n chuckled. He hasn't been formally greeted in a long time. It was always by his first name since that was his hero name and his daughter was just a bully to him. "You can learn a thing or two about manners from her" He nudged Y/n.

Y/n shoved him away. "I'm nice" She crossed her arms and stood by Mina.

M/n smiled at the friendship her daughter formed. She saw how Y/n interacted with Midoriya, but with Mina, it seemed different. There was more light, trust, and warmth. Her daughter was more herself. "Mina, love, would you like to come to dinner with us? I would be more than happy to talk to your parents first" She smiled, her hand finding its way to her husband.

Y/n quickly turned her head. Her smile grew more prominent. "Yea, that way I can meet your parents too."
