Nayeon and Jeongyeon stayed by Chaeyoung's side for as long as they could, but eventually, it was time to head back home. They left the hospital, their hearts heavy with anxiety and uncertainty about what the future might hold. The tension within them was palpable as they walked back to the dorm, each lost in their own worried thoughts.

Upon arriving at the dorm, they didn't waste a moment. They made a beeline for Jihyo's room, their determination clear. Bursting through the door, they stormed inside and swiftly locked it behind them, their eyes blazing with a mix of anger and desperation. It was time for answers.

"What's wrong?" Jihyo asked.

"Did you know that Chaeyoung got surgery today" Nayeon said.

"What? Oh my god! What happened to her?" Jihyo tried to act shocked.

"Cut the crap, Jihyo. You knew and you tried to stop the transplant. You tried to kill your teammate, you murderer!" Jeongyeon yelled at her.

"Keep it down, unnie," Jihyo said coldly. "Did you expect me to sit and watch after she stole the one I love?" Her voice was filled with anger. "I hope she really dies."

"The one you love despises you. Get that into your system," Nayeon shouted, her teeth gritting in frustration. "He ignored you the moment he knew you had feelings for him. If he cared even a bit, he would have tried to stop the marriage, but he didn't. Instead, he's doing his best to make his marriage with Chaeyoung work. So stop being delusional and get a life."

"We'll see about that," Jihyo retorted, then pushed her way past them.

The girls couldn't help but feel even more worried about Chaeyoung. Meanwhile, Jihyo drove frantically to meet Suga, but he was nowhere to be found. He wasn't at home or at the dorm, and his absence drove her to the brink of madness. With her plans exposed, she was at a loss for what to do next. As she was leaving Suga and Chaeyoung's house, she ran into Dowan, who was also searching for Suga and seething with anger at Jihyo.

"What brings you here, Jihyo-sshi?" Dowan asked angrily.

"Oh, I couldn't find Chaeyoung, so I got worried and came here to look for her," Jihyo panicked.

"You know damn well that she's in the hospital right now because of the transplant you tried to impede," Dowan snapped.

"W-what are you talking about?" she stuttered, her voice trembling.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about. Quit acting innocent and stop digging yourself into a deeper hole," Dowan grimaced, his annoyance evident.

"Nothing stays hidden in this world," Jihyo scoffed, her annoyance clear. "It's your client's fault. She took—"

"She took the one I love away from me," Dowan mimicked her, making her even angrier. "If he wanted to be with you, he would have. He's a grown-ass man who knows what's best for himself and he chose to stay away from you. Do you get it?"

"Just who do you think you are, huh?" Jihyo yelled at him.

"Your biggest nightmare; that's who I am," Dowan shot back, his eyes blazing with fury. "Try to lay a finger on Chaeyoung, and I'll make you regret you ever existed. That's who I am, so stay away from her and lay low while you can."

With those words, Dowan left Jihyo seething with anger and set off to find Suga who was nowhere to be found. Dowan was deeply disappointed by Suga's apparent carelessness towards his wife, but what he didn't know could completely change his mind.
