Chaeyoung anxiously awaited Jihyo's arrival at the hospital, silently hoping that Jihyo wouldn't cause any trouble. Lost in her thoughts, she was startled when the door suddenly swung open, revealing a visibly upset Jihyo.

"Unnie, what's wrong? Why do you look so angry?" Chaeyoung asked, trying to gauge Jihyo's mood.

"Of course, I'm angry. How could you not tell me about this? Have you lost your mind?" Jihyo scolded, her tone sharp with concern. "I've been sick with worry about you."

Chaeyoung couldn't help but scoff inwardly at the understatement. However, she quickly remembered Dowan's advice to feign ignorance, so she forced a smile onto her face.

"Nayeon and Jeongyeon unnie must've told you, right?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Yes, they told me, so I came here running" Jihyo said then secretly looked around and sat beside Chaeyoung "are you alone here? Where is your husband?"

Chaeyoung was triggered by the question, knowing all too well what lay beneath it. Despite her inner turmoil, she endeavored to maintain a composed facade, hoping Jihyo wouldn't catch on.

"He has schedule abroad so he's not here" Chaeyoung said with a sigh.

"He couldn't even stay for his wife's surgery?" Jihyo sneered, her tone laced with disdain.

"He didn't know, unnie," Chaeyoung retorted, irritation evident in her voice. "I only informed Nayeon and Jeongyeon."

"Mmm! I see your marriage is really forced" Jihyo remarked smugly. "Does that mean you'll leave him once your problems are sorted out?"

"I won't," Chaeyoung replied coldly, fully aware of Jihyo's intentions.

"What?!" Jihyo exclaimed in feigned shock, quickly trying to backtrack. "I mean, why stay with someone you don't love?"

Chaeyoung struggled to contain her rising anger, constantly reminding herself of Dowan's advice. However, Jihyo's insolence pushed her to the edge, causing Chaeyoung to finally snap.

"Who told you I don't love him? I do love him, and he loves me. There's no reason for us to split up. He's not responsible for his father's actions," Chaeyoung shouted at Jihyo, her frustration boiling over. "And why are you so concerned about my personal life? Shouldn't you be more worried about my health than my love life"

"But—" Jihyo attempted to interject, only to be cut off by the door clacking open, revealing a nurse who hurried in after hearing Chaeyoung's screams.

"Ma'am you need to leave, the patient is still recovering. You can't put her on any kind of stress" the nurse insisted firmly.

The nurse escorted Jihyo out, leaving Chaeyoung boiling in anger. Though she didn't harbor any romantic feelings for Suga, Jihyo's audacity had pushed her over the edge

"How dare she?" Chaeyoung muttered to herself, then immediately dialed Dowan's number on her phone.

"That bitch came here to make sure I'm breaking up with Yoongi. That's all she cares about," Chaeyoung fumed, her voice laced with frustration.

"What else did she say?" Dowan inquired, concern evident in his tone.

"she kept irritating me until the nurse intervened and escorted her out," Chaeyoung recounted. "Dowan-ah, I really need to get out of here as soon as possible. I can't take it anymore."

"Don't worry, you have a checkup scheduled for tomorrow, and then you'll be discharged. Just hang in there," Dowan reassured her soothingly.

Chaeyoung tried to calm herself by lying back on the bed and distracting herself by scrolling on her phone, but the unsettling news she had seen only added to her distress.

BTS Suga halts all activities due to personal reasons

""What? What personal reasons?" Chaeyoung frowned, her confusion deepening.

"Ugh!" She exclaimed. "I need to leave this place immediately."

"Are you concerned about him, which is why you want to leave?" A voice suddenly interrupted.

"Hajoon-shi? What brought you back?" Chaeyoung asked in surprise.

"I came discreetly at Dowan's behest. We agreed not to share anything that might upset you, but seeing how worried you were, I couldn't keep it from you," Hajoon explained solemnly.

"What is it? What happened to him?"

"He's been into a car accident, that's why he looked sick when he visited you"

"Is he okay now?"

"Yes but there's something I need you to keep in mind" Hajoon said "Yoongi is innocent. He has nothing to do with his father's business"

"Stop being biased Hajoon-shi" Chaeyoung scoffed "that fox is trying his best to make me fall for him so I stop fighting his father"

"That's one reason. He's a victim himself. Do you really know why Mr. Min wanted you two to get married? He wants Yoongi to take the fall in case anything happens. He has everything planned, so try to trust Yoongi even a bit"

"I'm sorry, I can't do that I mean try to put yourself in my shoe. He's an enemy no matter how nice you think he is, he can't turn tables against his own father"

"I hope you don't regret this decision, Chaeyoung-shi" Hajoon stood up to leave.

"Thank you anyway for trying to help me" Chaeyoung smiled widely.
