A Blessing In Disguise

Confrontation

Mr. Min felt an overwhelming surge of joy as he received the great news from Suga. With Suga now in control of Chaeyoung's company, SonFlower, Mr. Min could finally lay to rest all his worries about its future.

"SonFlower, my ass!" Mr. Min scoffed to himself. "Now it's MinFlower."

He grinned with pure delight, rising from his seat to head towards Suga's house, where they had agreed to meet. The prospect of owning such a successful company without any effort left him feeling enthusiastic and utterly satisfied.

Mr. Min proudly left his car when he reached Suga's house, his steps echoing with a sense of authority as he entered. He navigated confidently to the living room, where he turned to squarely face his son.

"So, what's the plan?" Mr. Min said

"I don't know, you tell me" Suga responded

"I believe you know well enough how to manage this company and since your wife is feeling guilty as you said, she'll help you with it" Mr. Min reassured wearing an evil smirk.

"Yes, don't worry about it" Suga smiled back, "so she can't do anything now that the company is under my name?"

"Yes, indeed. That was my goal from the start. It's to get her to give up everything so I could get it"

"Won't we get in trouble?" Suga asked.

"Worry not. I've done every possible thing in order to seize her company. There is no chance we'll get in trouble"

Suga found relief in every word his father said; that was all he needed him to say. He had the conversation he wished with his father then bid him goodbye, feeling satisfied that he convinced him that he's taking his side. Once his father left, Suga hurried back to the hospital to see Chaeyoung, whom he hadn't been able to see. Upon arriving, he quietly made his way to her room, only to be surprised to find her sitting in bed, struggling to reach her phone that had fallen to the floor. Suga smiled at his weary yet cute wife, who pouted in frustration as she failed to retrieve her phone. He went near the bed and picked it up, catching her attention. She immediately looked away, appearing scared and nervous, as though it was their first meeting.

"How could you do that to me?" Suga gently chided her.

"W-what do you mean?" Chaeyoung stuttered, still avoiding his gaze.

"What do I mean?" Suga repeated ironically, settling beside her on the bed. "You tried to end me, Mrs. Tenacious."

"I didn't mean to. I just wanted to end my pain," a tear escaped her beautiful eye.

"What difference does it make? Ending your life is like ending mine," he said softly, drawing closer to her. "How could you be so reckless?"

Chaeyoung was moved by his tender words, brimming with love for her. She reached out, her hand tenderly caressing his cheek, eliciting a wide smile from him. She felt incredibly fortunate to have him.

"If you ever try to do anything stupid like this I'll deal with you" Suga poked her nose "such a reckless brat"

"I love you" Chaeyoung said, wearing her first smile in a while.

"I love you too Mrs. Tenacious" Suga replied, enveloping her in a warm embrace.

The couple found themselves once again in their tranquil world, where the air was filled with the gentle embrace of love and the sweet ache of longing for each other.
