"LEO SLOW DOWN, YOU'RE GOING TO KILL US ALL!" screamed Annabeth in terror as I drove down 5th street. I knew I probably shouldn't have been driving that fast, considering Hazel was in the hospital because of a speeding vehicle, but we had to get there as soon as possible.

"Chill Annabeth. I've been driving for five years now, I think I know what I'm doing," I replied as I swirved the car to the left, dodging an old lady that was crossing the street.

Through the rear view mirror, I saw Annabeth clutching Percy's arm. Her face was a mix of fear and nausea, where as Percy looked like a cheerful little kid riding a roller coaster. At least someone appreciated my unique driving style. I almost laughed, but then remembered why we were going to the hospital in the first place, and my heart dropped. I didn't have 'lovey-dovey' feelings for Hazel anymore, because my heart belonged to Calypso, but she was still one of my best friends-more like sister- and the thought of her being in pain, or dying (again), made me hurt.

"Turn right here," Percy directed me.

"Perce you're not the only one that lives in NY now," I reminded him. "I know my way around Manhattan." I steered the car to the right, into the hospital parking lot.
