I looked out the window of Hazel's hospital room and saw Leo's car pull up, so I rushed to the elevator to get to the parking lot. Once I was there, I ran up to Annabeth, Percy, and Leo to greet them all with a hug. They looked like they had been crying, which I couldn't really blame them for, because so was I.
"Piper," Annabeth sobbed. She hugged me a second time, and I could feel her tears falling on my shoulder. "How is she? Is Hazel okay?"
"It's hard to say. She's still unconcious, but she seems to be getting better since we gave her some nectar and ambrosia," I answered. " Don't worry Annabeth, I'm sure everything will be fine. But frank... he's not doing so well. He won't eat or sleep, or leave her side at all."
I started leading the three of them inside the hospital, to Hazel's room. We were walking down the hall when I saw Nico running toward us, waving his arms frantically. "She's awake!" he mananged as he breathes heavily. "She's concious again!" Nico pulled us along until we reached room 278. We stepped inside and saw Hazel laying in a bed, with machines attached to her, and Frank right beside her, holding her hand. I heard him mutter "I'm so sorry. I love you Hazel" Then Hazel trying to reply "Not- your fault Frank-I- love you."
As if I wasn't already scared enough for one friend, something else happened. Annabeth fell to the side like she was really dizzy, Percy catching her, and then threw up all over his shirt. Though Percy didn't seem to care about his shirt at all. He just lifted her up gently, and rushed toward a nurse.
