To think she was one of our avid readers, back then in 2020 when I was writing the book.

She still anticipates and asks for updates, even after concluding the book in 2020.

Thank you love for your supports💜

As soon as someone joins April on the pavement, she looks up immediately.

"Boring day!" April comments.

"I do not think so; perhaps you are the boring one," Homa smiles, while April adjusts with a small smile on her lips.

The way Homa whistled caused her to look up immediately; she noticed he did not spare her a glance, and she simply watched him until he was out of sight.

"I don't know what he is feeling like. He thinks everyone loves him. He thinks he is handsome!" Homa comments. April couldn't help but let the smile out. She knew Homa was only trying to make her feel better.

"But he is cute!" April says referring to her childhood crush. Homa pauses and looks at her.

"Do not tell me you still like him. After nearly two months of not seeing him, do you mean there are not any cute boys in Hallel College?" Homa inquires with a raised eyebrow. Meanwhile, April burst out laughing; Homa had been her friend since they moved in, and she was the only person in the yard who did not regard her as a proud individual.

She often wondered why they had such a negative opinion of her; she was not open with people and could not make friends. She recently began attempting to interact with others. If it was not Homa, it was her elder sister, Wunmi. Whether they were at home, the church, or school. She knew deep down that if Homa had attended Hallel College, she would not have been forced to mingle with others.

"Their boys are really cute. But that is not why I am at school," April laughs.

"Look at her, pretender," Homa comments.

"They are all wealthy people, Homa. I need to stay within my limits. How many poor and rich people have you seen mix together?" April inquiries. "It just happens in novels, movies..., "

"Stop looking down on yourself; you will not be in this position forever. I can see you working toward it!" Homa replies with a smile.
If there was anything Homa excelled at, it was encouraging others; having her as a friend was like having a rare germ.

"Homakwokwo!" April calls out with a mischievous smile. She understood how much Homa despised being addressed by her full name.

"It is Homachi," Homa replies.

"Ode, how do Homakwokwo and Homachi connect? Homakwokwo means "good thing never ends," whereas Homachi means "good things from God." April scoffs.

"Suit yourself!" Homa says and begins biting her nails. April was aware that she did this only when she was nervous. Only one person can put her up there. And she was correct: Daniel walked past them as if he did not see anyone.

"Do not tell me you still have a hopeless crush on that..."

"Shut up!" Homa frowns. Earning a smile from April.
