"Hey. Can I join you guys?" Clara who had a tray in her possession asks with a smile.

"Feel free, we didn't bring these chairs from our various homes!" Science says aiming at making a joke, meanwhile, Clara lets out a cheeky smile, while she drops her food on the table.

"Isn't Light joining you guys today?" Clara asks, meanwhile April takes a glass of water.

"I don't think so!" April responds.

"Hey, I love your eyebrow!" Clara says staring at Nancy who stares at her like she was reading her thought for a while, before responding.

"Thank you!" Nancy replies. There was no excitement in her voice, it was just empty.

"Science!" Dumlesi says while she pulls a chair and joins their table.

  Everyone is suddenly quiet, Clara who didn't really understand where the problem was coming from or headed to, did a low-key observation.

April, on the other hand, didn't look up, she continued focusing on her food. While Nancy stopped eating.

"How was SA?" Dumlesi's loud voice is heard, she was obviously talking to Science, who had a guilty look on her face, she didn't know who to support, they were all her friends, and she couldn't just side with the party.

"Annoying. I just had to be doing eye service, since that's what my Mum wanted, also still sad, I didn't get to attend the new year's eve party." Science responds.

"That party was lit," Dumlesi says with a smile, her facial expression shining with excitement. Her eyes meet with Clara's intense gaze.
"Hi, I'm Dumlesi Johnson!" She introduces herself with a smile.

"Clara Anete!" Clara responds.

"Oh, Ibinabor's cousin?" Dumlesi asks almost immediately.

"Kinda!" Clara says trying to keep a straight face.

"Nice, you are beautiful though," Dumlesi says.

"You are too," Clara responds, meanwhile her eyes catch something. "I love your bracelets. Wow, this is beautiful." Clara says referring to the bracelet on April's wrist, meanwhile, April's eyes bulge out, she had been intentionally using her sleeves to cover it, she didn't want unnecessary questions because she knew nothing about bracelets after she had an encounter with Tibiebi who couldn't stop asking questions and praising it.

   April turns to Clara, only to see the three of them staring at the bracelet, she could see Dumlesi's intimidating look too.

"I actually have a rose gold diamond, I really wanted to get white gold, but it wasn't available then. Damn!" Clara says, obviously admiring the bracelet.

"For all, we know it could be imitation! I don't think it's original, " Dumlesi says, with the look Science gave her, she is forced to rephrase her words. "I mean, April can't afford a tennis bracelet, I was trying to say, it's a clone, " Dumlesi says, trying to clear herself.

"Girl, " Clara calls with an amusing look. "I'm the bracelet type, I can tell fake if I see it," Clara says, meanwhile April who had nothing to say focused more on her food.
"We are talking about a white gold diamond tennis bracelet, Two to fifteen carats. We are talking about 799$ to 2799$, " Clara concludes.

"This isn't a clone," Science says, obviously studying April's wrist.

"That's what I'm trying to say, 799$ is 303,220.50 in Nigerian Naira, " Dumlesi scoffs.

"I bought mine 370, I think it should cost more, " Clara says looking sure of what she was talking about.

"That's why I'm saying it's a clone, April can't afford such, no offense," Dumlesi says In a mock tone. Meanwhile, April who was almost done with her food simply gets up, picks up her tray, and walks away without uttering another word.
