Smut Warning ;)
"Take me home." Malaya sincerely voiced, with no room to argue with the alpha. She didn't want to cause any more trouble than there already was. It's too much for her and her sudden change of health didn't make it any better. Why was she feeling like this all the sudden when she saw Vaani with another woman?
Vaani scoffs, "No you're sick don't you see? Who's gonna take care of you?" She questions, irritated with Malaya's change of heart. Continuing to drive to her apartment.
"Jaemin." She gravely remarked.
"Why does everything have to be about him? You have me. Don't you get that?" When Malaya has difficulties she always resorts to Jaemin, which hurts Vaani's pride. Doesn't someone resort their troubles to the person they like..? Yet how come Malaya always depends on Jaemin and not Vaani? This seems to take a toll on Vaani's self-esteem.
"That's not true! At least he doesn't ignore me and show up like nothing has happened."
"I called you and you didn't answer." Vaani retorted.
"You're lying."
"Check your phone." Vaani demanded while coming to a stop; arriving at her apartment building parking lot.
Malaya rummaged around her pockets just not to find her phone. She thought it might have been in her purse so she searched. Once she found the phone the screen turned on to see a few missed calls from an unknown number in her notification center. No words were spoken for a few minutes, silence accompanied the two. One that wasn't comfortable but did settle an ease to one of Malaya's troubles.
"I'm the unknown missed calls. I crashed into someone and my phone cracked on the way of the crash. I thought I would've been fine but the screen was pitch black. I couldn't get a hold of you until today and it is also the reason why I came back earlier than supposed. I've missed you." Vaani explained breaking the unbearable silence.
"Now I've come back as you're getting hit on. I should've came back sooner, in fact I should've never left. Who told you you can dress so beautifully without me being here?" She continued with a hint of a playful manner.
"What about the woman?" Malaya shamefully questioned hoping her accusation weren't true; disregarding Vaani's question and possessive remarks.
"What woman? My assistant?"
"Your assistant?" Malaya embarrassingly lowered her voice wanting to sink into her car seat due to the humiliation.
Vaani chuckled. "Yes my assistant, I've told you already you are the only one for me." She practically sang the last few words expressing her adoration.
Malaya scrunched up her nose in disgust. "Stop saying those cringy things"
"But I mean it." Vaani settled, facing her beloved one with such tenderness.
"Mmm..." She hummed with a tint of red clinging on her cheeks.
Vaani exited her car as well as Malaya, still feeling a bit ill but better than earlier. Vaani attended Malaya by grabbing her waist while heading towards her apartment. The hold Vaani had on Malaya made her feel relieved as her previous ill complexion gone. Though it was odd, Malaya didn't speak on it. She swatted it away as if it were nothing.
"Were you perhaps jealous?" Vaani questioned once she opened the door to her apartment.
"No!" Malaya squealed.
Vaani laughed a bit too loud to Malaya's liking, making her pout."Ok, Listen I like you and only you."
