When the undetectable blob on the black and white screen appeared on the grand flat screen tv Malaya's lips tugged into a cavitating smile. She couldn't help but feel in a trace when she saw the fetus that was growing in her belly.
This was her child, no, this was hers and Vaani's child that was living in her stomach. At first she couldn't help but feel scared that she was a mother all of the sudden but now looking at her baby on the black and white frames she felt a bit more relieved.
Vaani also couldn't help but feel fascinated that she would see the start of her child in just a couple more months she would be able to hold the baby in her arms.
Averting her eyes to her mother of her child she intertwined her hand with Malaya's squeezing tight reassuring her through the process. "You're about 2 weeks pregnant," the doctor stated, moving the wand around the gel. " you can't really see it but it's there. It's about the size of a penny if not bigger, which is considered not yet conceived but in two weeks we'll be able to see more clearly."
Both alpha's nod as the doctor places the wand back to its prospective place whilst wiping the gel off Malaya's stomach. "We'll need to start taking prenatals and taking care of our diet." Both nodding again they smiled comfortably. "Also keeping each other close is very important; pheromones will keep the baby and mother at bay. I'm assuming you guys bonded, also with dominant pheromones will keep difficulties from uproaring." The short beta doctor smiled, crossing her hands across her groin escorting the couple out the room. "I'll see you guys in a couple of weeks."
"Ok thank you so much." Vaani expressed in gratitude slinging her hand across Malaya's shoulders. "Yes thank you so much." Malaya retorted.
The beta doctor smiled tenderly,"no problem the lady in the front will help you guys with all the paperwork."
With the paperwork in one hand and Vaani's intertwined hand in the other they left that building satisfied. "I- I can't believe I'm a mom." Malaya breathed out, earning a chuckle from Vaani. "Yeah me neither."
"How... how do you think your dad is going to respond." The older alpha shifted on her feet a bit uncomfortably, bringing her teeth in between her lips. Vaani averted her vision towards the fret tone radiating off her lover.
She quickly halted, lifting a single finger under her flustered face. "It doesn't matter what the bastard thinks, this is between you and me. Got it?" Malaya hesitated, closing her eyes fighting the internal battle scratching the surface ready to proclaim her doubts. It wasn't until a soft tender peck connected to her plump rosy ones.
"Got it?" Vaani questioned again, earning an eager nod from Malaya, "got it."

Stepping foot into the tall reflected building Malaya felt an eerie settlement in her chest, was it because she has a secret share between her boss's sister or that it's been a while since she's been back into this building.
Malaya decided on the latter. Walking into the large elevator she began to hit the twelfth floor closing the doors before a shout resounded from the lobby. "Wait." The tone was authoritative and uncanny sounding a lot like...
"Oh hi Ren." Malaya greeted, a bit surprised to see her boss after so many day's. "Hello, it's great to see you." He gleefully returned the greeting, closing the elevator doors behind him.
"So, care to give an explanation why my assistant MIA-ed." He joked a sly smirk supporting that.
The recessive alpha grimaced fiddling with her fingers to suppress her anxiousness. "Uh I got...sick."
"Mm, so I heard."
He knows? Ah Vaani probably informed him. Does he also know... "There was a bit of commotion last Sunday, huh." Ren's voice resonated along with a ding following the elevator doors open to the twelfth floor.
