The frantic vibration awoke Vaani from her sleep. She groaned, slapping her palm to her face to block the sunlight creeping through the curtains. Rubbing her eye and began to lift herself up albeit she slumped right back to her spot. Tearing her eyes to the weight suppressing her to arise she couldn't help the corner of her lips quirk up.

Malaya nuzzled between her neck and shoulders softly snoring, illuminating her soft features a bit too flushed than usual. Vaani eyebrows knitted together as she lifted the back of her hand towards Malaya's forehead drawing a sudden shiver as she pursued the closest source of heat.

Did she go too hard on her last night? Sighing Vaani attended to unravel herself to tend the malnourishment in the alpha's complexion. A whine slid through the walls of the bedroom as Vaani stepped through her door descending to the storing medications.

With two pills in one hand and another with a glass of water she placed on the nightstand the alpha gently placed her cold hands on Malaya's flushed cheeks stirred her sleep.

"Peaches..." The tone was soft, comforting even as she placed herself back into her position they first laid. Tugging the piece of hair behind her ear she called again, earning a cute groan slip through the older alpha's lips.

After a few attempts she arose, her pale skin complexion and weak vitality distraught Vaani's humor. Embracing the sickly Malaya into her arms they spend their day with aid. Indifference to the source she arose to that morning.

When Malaya awakened with a feverish nature Vaani was quick to respond with medication stored in her kitchen cabinet. However worry began to appear when it passed a few days and Malaya's symptoms wouldn't alleviate as to Vaani's liking.

She stayed home those few days watching her lover in pain as she tried to regain her once cheerful and caring state. Yet it seems these days it wasn't enough until she called it quits and convinced Malaya to take a visit to the hospital.

"Come on peaches it doesn't look like you're getting any better, how about a visit to the doctors, hm?"

"You're overthinking things, I'll be fine in a day or two, things are usually like this when I get sick." Malaya retorted, while pushing a spoonful of porridge as it was the only thing that seemed to stay down and not out on the toilet seat. It was rough at first. It became overwhelming the first few days, restraining the tears threatening to spill; however on the third day Malaya could careless of her pride and let them travel out her eyes down her cheek.

The older alpha wanted to be strong as this was nothing to her yet this was something she hadn't experienced since she was a child diagnosed with a stomach virus. She hated those days vomiting nonstop and feeling drained of liveliness.

Malaya wanted this to be over suggestively persuading the younger alpha this will pass as her past experience lasted about a week. She was fine; she can pull through this.

On the other hand Vaani thought what an insufferable suggestion her peaches could request on. She knew Malaya was stubborn but couldn't she see this was for her own good health. No way in hell was she going to bypass this when she saw the pain and appearance of the alpha.

Carrying her bridal style she strutted towards her car. With a yelp bypassing the older alpha's mouth she reluctant, "hey Vaani, listen to me, there's no need to do it this way! I've been doing fine really."

Vaani quirked her eyebrows almost forming into one, "throwing up for the past couple of days is fine?"

Malaya subconsciously shrinks, lolling her head to bury into Vaani's neck to prevent her agitation. She was right, she wasn't getting better and she felt like absolute shit. It's for the better.
