Panic seeps in, leaving her hands clammy as she heaves for a breath of air to fill her lungs. The situation is unbearable, her father moving on with this unknown woman. Her father, not having the courage to introduce the lady he's marrying- planning a future with, to his kids. It was upsetting how he didn't have the trust in them to introduce the lady and now all the sudden he's getting married. Disgust was the word repeating in Vaani's head. How could he?
She shuts her eyes to blind herself as she clenches her chest, the horrified pain seeming to not ease. As she keeps her eyes shut the images of her mother playing in her head: the ease the family had back then, to the comfort provided by her mother palm caressing her cheek replaying over and over again like a broken record.
The comfort as her warm palm engulfed a young Vaani's cheek was the highlight of this never ending dream. Endearing as always as she instinctively leads forward for the longing Vaani so desperately needs from her mother warmth. However, the imagination deteriorates, withering into sand, yet the warmth is still evident on her cheek.
Vaani didn't want to open her eyes, it was the last thing she wanted to do as facing reality was too hard for her to stand. As past memories kept reminding her that her mother was no longer here. She missed a mother figure during her teen years where she had to get through the hardest years of her life.
The several attempts to unalive herself to ease the pain gone unsuccessful as she would turn to alcohol and pleasure was another attempt to destroy herself to forget the mother figure she so longingly lost.
As the pain in her chest induced, a couple of beads of sweat started to drip on her forehead and her vision started to haze.
"Vaani! Hey Vaani, you're scaring me." Malaya weeps as a worker escorted them into a private room. Once Vaani's pheromones started a commotion Malaya was quick to Vaani's side attentive to any of her needs. Yet it wasn't enough to subside the pheromones Vaani was releasing nor the complaints of a couple of people.
This alerted Malaya and the Arison's siblings, whilst Ren called for assistance to resolve the situation from any further complications. Preferably a beta male to help support Vaani through the venue into a more secluded room as Vaani could most likely crush Malaya on the way. Also the pheromones emitting from Vaani wouldn't affect the beta into heat nor discomfort from the smell.
"Uh.. thank you sir. I'll take it from here." Malaya spoke anxiously, grasping the man's hand in a way to show her gratitude for all the help he's provided. In return he nodded in respect with a smile growing on his face, "No problem, miss."
As they stood in a room on the second floor of the venue, the male beta left the two alone in the room, closing the door behind him pitying the couple. Hope she can calm that kid down, he thought.
Malaya was quick to settle Vaani on the bench placed on the wall to support her body. Vaani's condition didn't look so great to Malaya as she tried again to speak to Vaani. "Hey Vaani, can you hear me?" Her voice trembled as her eyes burned from the sight, she seems so out of it. What could possibly trigger her to affect her this much?
"Vaani, please answer me." She caressed her cheek placing her forehead onto Vaani to find any comfort that could possibly snap Vaani out of it. "Vaani, I'm right here ok? So can you just please talk to me?" The older alpha wails only to receive no response. She was desperate and left with nothing but to aid the younger alpha.
Couple of minutes passed Vaani shifts her hand to grab Malaya's wrist pulling her down onto her lap, surprising the alpha as she thrashes to lift herself up and off the younger alpha. "Hey you, you think you can do whatever you want with me!" Malaya practically cried, "I was worried and scared ok? Why didn't you just talk to me when I was talking to you? I'm here for you just as much as you are for me okay. I know I don't show but I really am. Come on, can you please say something? Please?" The older alpha bawled frantically waving her hands to reveal her demands feeling her emotions overwhelm. However, she felt selfish as Vaani was going through something more severe than her sappy feelings towards the situation.
