Dalton has done a lot of wrong in his past. Nicolette is the type of woman who sees no wrongdoing in others. What happens when they cross each other's paths? Will Nicolette's father be as understanding as she is? Or will they fall apart?
It's been a few days since Nicolette had moved into her new apartment in town which means that it has been just as many days that she found another tracking and listening device hidden in her bedroom, that her own father planted there. That same day that she found the device was when the drug lord from Mexico found her as her father's weakness. That has not only myself worried but Nicolette worried as well. She hasn't admitted it out loud yet but she's terrified to go anywhere alone now. This isn't the same girl I met several weeks back. That girl was fearless and now she's scared that Juan is going to kidnap her. I wouldn't put it past Juan to kidnap her because he would ask her father to drop any and all charges if he wants his daughter returned alive. I have called her whenever I have had a free moment to calm her nerves. I can tell that it's weighing on her deeply. But if I mention anything if this to her father, he may try and out the blame on me as if this is all my fault.
Today I am at the shop alone for now because Bud had to run out on a few broken down car towed back here for us to fix. As I'm finishing up changing oil on one car, I hear the front door chime letting me know I have a client here. I still have it back in my head that Sheriff Dean would hire a female to make it look like I can't be faithful. I clean my hands off and when I walk up front, I see this over done Barbie wanna be standing at the counter. I stand far ways back. This has got to be his doing and by his I mean Sheriff. This is an all time low. I set the cameras to record.
~Dalton~ Can I help you?
~Kiki~ Yeah my car isn't running right and I was wondering if you could take a look at it and see if it's fixable.
~Dalton~ It wouldn't even get touched this week or next week because we have a back log if cars that were brought in way ahead of yours.
~Kiki~ I can pay you double cash for it.
~Dalton~ Again no I'm sorry... it would be almost 3 weeks from today before it would ever get looked at and maybe another week or two before it would get repaired.
She starts walking towards me
~Dalton~ ma'am go back around the counter please...
~Kiki~ Now you know I can't do that.
~Dalton~ You need to now or I'm calling the police station on you and having a restraining order on you.
~Kiki~ Come on baby, I saw how you looked at me when you were in town. I saw how hard I easily made you. Trust me I can relieve stress from your body that would put you in an incredible mood for the whole day....
I have had it with her trying to get me to agree to whatever the hell she was trying to get me to do.
~Dalton~ THAT'S IT! I have had it with your shït. So leave my shop now and take your car that your father most likely paid for and go to whoever paid you to try and drive a wedge before I could admit to her how she makes me nervous and how much I truly like her.
~Kiki~ I will have you
~Dalton~ I'd like to see how that would even be possible.....
She finally leaves. I immediately grab my phone and text Nicolette. I won't keep anything from her.
Text Message
~Dalton~ So I think your father sent in a hooker into the body shop with a fake repair orders.
~Lettie~ let me guess my father?
~Dalton~Yeah he did babygirl. She tried saying I was hard for her.
~Lettie~ Who were you hard for, if I wasn't there?
~Dalton~ Babygirl you know damn well I was hard for you.
~Lettie~ Your so bad. I have to go finish this one painting that the mayor requested.
~Dalton~ Call me if you need anything. I'm legit 10 minutes away, I don't care your safety matters the most to me.
~Lettie~ Okay I will. Maybe I will see you later??
~Dalton~ I will definitely try
I put my phone back into my pocket and continue to work in a few other cars that need minor things fixed or changed out. So when Bud arrives back soon, he and I can discuss these ladies thinking I have player written on my forehead. Thankfully I don't because I refuse to allow anyone ruin something good.

Lettie's POV
I am beyond furious with my father because this screams him. He was so against me even being friends with Dalton and now he's okay with him and I being friends. He knows one thing that ends any sort of relationship is to be cheated on. So he would definitely hire someone to make it appear he cheated. But since Dalton and I are friends still trying to figure this all out. But until then, he and I are just friends and for now if that does change it's just between him and I.
