Arrested

Amira's POV

I have been waiting around for the last several days for my cousin to come home so I could plant these drugs with his prints on them around his house, to get him arrested and away from that goodie too shoes Nicolette. I honestly have no clue what he sees in her, but he sees something. Before he even went into prison, he never looked at a female close to the way he looks at her. He was always a hit it and quit it kind of man. This is disgusting in my opinion. I want him to be alone and absolutely miserable. But I can't unleash this plan without him being at his house. So what do I do next? I can the sheriff and tell him that I have found drugs inside my cousin's house. He told me that he would be here within 10-15 minutes. I told him that I appreciate it deeply and that I was concerned about his daughter. He thanks me again for this tip. It's nothing as long as it gets her gone and him thrown back into jail for the rest of his life. I don't care if he is mad at me or if she is either as long as they are apart.

When I see the Sheriff arrive he looks annoyed. I hope it's because he is annoyed that Dalton brought drugs around his daughter.

~Sheriff~ Where are the drugs located at ma'am?

~Amira~ Upstairs in his bedroom. First door on the left.

He walks upstairs and I follow him. I need to know what he plans on doing. He sees the two bricks of cocaine under his bed.

~Sheriff~ I have to grab an evidence bag out of the truck, I'll be right back. Stay out of the room.

Sheriff's POV

I knew right off the bat that Dalton didn't put those drugs under his bed. Bud gave me his last set of drug test results from around 2 weeks ago and one he conducted yesterday morning. He has been clean for a while of any suspected drugs. So who planted them? Only person I am suspecting currently is Amira herself. But why would she do this to her own flesh and blood? I thought her and Nicolette were even friends? But that is now besides the point. I walk back inside and begin tagging evidence. She is standing here watching me like a hawk. I need to get her prints to exclude her as a suspect.

~Sheriff~ Okay Amira I need your prints to rule you out as planting these here.

She looks immediately scared about something. If she is innocent then she should have nothing to worry about.

~Amira~ Why do you need my finger prints? I haven't done anything wrong!

~Sheriff~ If you haven't done anything wrong then you have nothing to be worrying about ever. It's standard protocol for these sort of cases.

~Amira~ I understand that completely but I don't feel comfortable giving you my prints. You could easily plant them on the evidence.

~Sheriff~ If you have nothing to be guilty about, then you have nothing to worry about. You are making this entirely too difficult for us.

She stops giving me hell and gives me her set of prints. Something does tell me that she isn't the one who planted these drugs without telling me she does. Yes Dalton did call me and tell me what she said the other week about planting them. That is why he hasn't been home. Nicolette is making sure he stays behaved and doesn't do anything wrong. She gets him to and from work by dropping him off at work around bsck so nobody sees him. He doesn't do anything that involves him going out front and seen by the public. Bud is handling this. He is aware of what is going on and isn't happy that someone is trying to place blame on his best worker.
