I'm sorry for how long this took me to post. I kept struggling with my plot for this chapter. It was actually supposed to be chapter 3, so I also had to add the stuff about Denki and Jirou dating that wouldn't have been part of it if I had added it when it was originally supposed to be. I feel so sorry for Denki in this chapter. I'm so mean to my poor boy.
"Hey, Denki," Izuku calls out to his friend. He's been practically bouncing out of his seat in excitement to show the blonde the improvements that had been made on Denki's hero suit thanks to a request from Shouta.
Denki grins at the boy and quickly makes his way over to where he's standing. When he gets over to the green haired boy, he's confused to see one of the hero suit cases on Izuku's desk. He's even more confused when he realizes that it's his own rather than Izuku's.
"Why do you have my case?"
Izuku merely grins, and pops the case open. He grabs one item out, and holds it up so that Denki can see. "Dad had them add a skirt for you, like Papa's outfit, but the skirt is a little more to your style since we both figure you wouldn't want a mini-skirt."
Denki takes the skirt from Izuku and examines it. It's a black skater style skirt with white lightning bolts down the sides to match the ones that are on his jacket. His smile lights up his face as he gently folds the material and places it back in the case.
"The pants are still in there too," Izuku comments. "There's also a different shirt to go with the skirt, and some leggings for when it's colder but you still want to wear the skirt."
"I almost wish I was a girl today because this is amazing." Denki can't hold back his grin. "I can't wait to wear the new additions."
The rest of the class slowly makes their way into the classroom as Izuku returns Denki's case to its place amongst the rest of the cases. Denki finds himself having to hide a smile as he watches Kacchan walk in with Kirishima. He wonders to himself if Kacchan has started to develop any feelings towards the red head, but he appreciates living too much to ask the question. He's glad that two of his friends ended up in the same class as him. Their presence has helped him be able to tolerate Ahmya's torture better as he's actually around people who truly care about him, people to whom he matters as more than just some pawn that they're using.
Shouta walks into the room and announces for everyone to grab their hero suits, get changed, and line up outside for the bus. Everyone is confused, but they don't ask questions. They just do as they were told.
"I wish I could blow up that stupid little purple fucker," Katsuki comments where only Izuku and Denki can hear him.
Denki is confused because he sees Mineta as harmless, even as a sort of friend. Well, as much of a friend as Mineta can be when he avoids Denki on days where the blonde is wearing a skirt. He's never been outright mean about Denki's gender fluidity, but he has shown some signs of disliking people of the LGBT community. Has Mineta made horrible comments about the fact that Katsuki is gay. It's not exactly like the explosive boy has hidden it, so Denki wouldn't be surprised.
"I know, Kacchan, but I'm sure the girls can handle him themselves." Izuku responds to the explosive blonde.
Denki almost smiles at Izuku's response. Of course, they're all hero students here. Kacchan would be protective of the girls getting harassed by Mineta.
Katsuki scoffs. "You know why it fucking bothers me, Deku. If he doesn't stop, I'll explode him myself. Tell your dad to expel him or something. He needs to disappear."
"He can't. I've tried asking him to." Izuku shrugs. "Apparently the parents of his last class complained too much about his 'academic death' approach, and he's not allowed to expel students anymore. He wants him gone as much as you do. I'll just keep running interference."
