Denki breathes the biggest sigh of relief of his life as Aizawa announces that everyone passed their written exams. Since dating Hitoshi, he had started studying with the insomniac, but they were only so patient with him. The study sessions turned into disasters more than anything, but as soon as Neito joined them, he started helping Denki, and the electric blonde’s grades jumped far quicker than they ever did before. It also helped that Neito and Hitoshi would offer him simple rewards for every right answer on the homework. Rewards like kisses and candy, and special dates were rewards for passed tests. Now, the class is finding out if they're all going to get to go to the training camp this summer or if it's just going to be certain people.

Denki’s as happy as can be even if one of his boyfriends won't be able to go to the summer camp because it's hero course only. He'll get more time to get to know Neito better, and that's enough for him. Then, the other shoe drops. Denki failed the practical exam. He was afraid that not escaping meant certain failure, but he had hoped that his written exam would save him from failure. He wants to cry. Neito’s probably going to be getting to go, and he'll be stuck at home with the bastards for the whole time.

"Since it was the practical that was failed, and the camp is for training, it would be negligent of us to leave anyone out." Shouta looks directly at Denki with a look that says he won't let the villains have him. "Everyone is going, but those who failed will be taking summer school classes after training every day. You will be in a classroom with the one student of class B who failed as well."

The extremely pointed look Shouta gives Denki at the mention of one student from class B having failed tells him exactly who it was. Of course the dark haired teacher is disappointed that both of his son's soulmates managed to fail.

It doesn't matter anyway, at least he doesn't have to stay with the Akumas, even if he's worried that he'll miss the birth of his "sister." Ahmya is due to go into labor any day now, but he knows Neito’s mom will let him know when she's born. Sure, the woman has tried to convince him not to keep the baby, knowing her son is Denki's soulmate and that Neito doesn't want kids, but Neito has shot down every attempt quicker than Denki could. He wonders if Hitoshi told their boyfriend about Denki’s past and the reasons that he absolutely cannot lose Sachiko. If anyone understands Denki's wish to keep her, it would be Hitoshi who not only knows his past, but can also see into Denki’s mind and knows even more than Denki had planned to ever tell anyone. He's sure Hitoshi even knows the fact that he wants to be the one to raise her, even if she's not his, even though he wouldn't be allowed to since he's under age and wouldn't be allowed to adopt her.

After class ends for the day, they have their first Hero Course Transgender Support Group meeting, which consists of Katsuki, Hitoshi, Denki, Neito, and, much to Denki's surprise, Mina. At Denki’s questioning, it's revealed that Mina is agender and prefers they/them pronouns and that Katsuki had found out because, after hearing them ask Uraraka for a tampon, something the anti gravity girl doesn't use, Katsuki had tried to slip one into the pink skinned person's bag unnoticed. He had gotten caught, of course, and had to explain to Mina why he keeps tampons on him which led to them telling him that they're agender.

At least one teacher has to be part of any group or club, so Shouta was roped into being part of it with Present Mic joining when he can, in other words, any time Midnight can be roped into babysitting the twins since Shouta and Mic may ask Akira, Hitoshi and Izuku to help now and again, but they refuse to force their older kids to help raise their sisters.

"Is it just me, or has Hitoshi been avoiding us?" Neito asks as he walks home with Denki. After they had started dating, the two had figured out just how close they live to one another. If Neito hadn't been sent to a private middle school, they could have even possibly known one another before UA, depending on whether or not their test scores would have put them in the same school.

Denki puts his hands behind his head. "Do you really blame him, Nei? He was stuck wanting and needing to be near us for a month. They definitely need a little bit of space."

Neito groans. "But they can’t come to the training camp. You'd think they'd use that as his 'little bit of space.'"

"Need I also remind you that Toshi can read our minds now, and I'm sure it gives them a migraine?" Denki sighs. "It gives us some time together too. Isn't my company enough?" Denki pouts at his boyfriend.

Neito lightly smacks Denki’s shoulder. "I love spending time with you, babe, but I'd like to see my other partner more than just at lunch and after school training."

"And studying, and the occasional date after I pass a test, and now we have the support group Kacchan started." Denki sighs. "He's not avoiding us, and he's not avoiding you. I'm not allowed over at their house because Ahmya and Ren won't let me, and they don't think it's fair to me if you can do something I can't. My adoptive parents don't even know about you because I'm barely allowed to date Toshi, and it's only because they think I can 'get information' from dating him."

"Information?"

Denki drags Neito into a nearby alley. He doesn't want to do this, doesn't want to tell him, but he can’t hide the truth from the other blonde. "My adoptive parents are villains. They're trying to get me to give them information about my class to give to their boss, but I refuse. I told Shouta at the beginning of the year, but, when he told me he had a way to get me away from them, I refused for the baby's sake. I won't leave until she's born and I can get her away too. Shouta gives me worthless information to give them now and again to keep me out of trouble, but…" his words are interrupted by Neito kissing him. He's so stunned that he doesn't kiss back, and the manic blonde pulls away before he has time to reciprocate.

"I know." Neito says, pulling away from the kiss. "Hitoshi told me about your situation already." His lips tug up into a smile. "I just didn't realize that he was trying to be fair to you by not spending alone time with me outside of school."

Denki nods before shoving his boyfriend against the wall of the brick building behind him. He presses his lips back to the other blonde’s. There's no way he's going to let Neito get away with kissing him and not giving him the chance to kiss back. After a second, Neito reciprocates, but pulls away the moment Denki tries to get him to open his mouth.

"You have a curfew to make," he pants a little. "As much fun as making out is, I refuse to be the reason you get into trouble."

The pair exit the alley and soon, Denki is kissing Neito goodbye on the steps of his home before walking off to his own personal hell.

"At least you can do something fucking right," Ahmya growls after Denki hands her the permission form for the training camp. "Tomura will be happy to know that both of his spys made it to the camp. This way if one tracker doesn't work, the other will."

Denki faces the floor, but he can hear the smirk in her voice. He's glad Ren isn't home yet because the small praise he just got from Ahmya would have been completely disregarded as soon as she uttered it with the man commenting that he doesn't know how he passed or suggesting he cheated to get the answers. Things used to be the other way around. Ren would praise him for little things he did right, and Ahmya would find reason to tear into him despite his success. She hated him with a passion up until the point when she found out she was pregnant this time around. Her change in demeanor towards him, no matter how small that change may have been, only points towards him being right. And Ren’s animosity towards him doesn't help the case of Denki being wrong. There's no way the man doesn't know what Ahmya did, although, Denki wonders if he thinks that she did it a different way because the only reason he can come up with for Ren’s animosity is if he thinks Ahmya had had sex with Denki, something that most definitely didn't happen.

The last few days before the training camp go by quickly, and just before they leave, Ahmya comes to him with a syringe filled with some sort of yellowish liquid. She injects it into his right arm, just above his elbow, with a smirk. "My tracking device for you is different from the other spy's. Only I have access to its location. Make one wrong move, and I'll know about it, so stick close to your class. If you die in the raid, so be it. One less problem for me."

With that, she shoves him out of the house to walk to the school alone.

So close to the end. Are you as excited as I am? Once this is over, we'll have Todoroki's story next to cover the back half of first year. I'll be starting the process of plotting it out soon, so look forward to the beginning of "Living A Lie" after the ending of "Electrify Me"
