"This could work," Denki hears her adoptive mother's voice say as she walks past the bedroom to start breakfast.

"But, it's unnatural. Boys aren't supposed to like boys."

"I only fucking use it against him because he's self conscious about others hating him for it. For fucks sake, Ren, I'm bi." Denki has never heard her raise her tone at Ren, never heard them argue, but now she hears it, and for once, Ahmya seems to be on her side. "Besides, if he can get close enough to Eraserhead's kid, he might be able to find out the weaknesses of the successor. The green haired one would be ideal as our other source believes him to be the successor, but the purple haired one might still know something."

Of course, she was plotting how Denki being in a relationship with Hitoshi could benefit their boss. Jokes on them, she's not going to give them anything more than the little bits of information Shouta gives her to tell them. She would never exploit the person she's in love with. She could never betray her friends, but she could make her adoptive parents think that she is, if she can finally have the love she's wanted for so long.

There's more arguing behind her as she heads to the kitchen. She makes breakfast for all three of them, making sure to remember Ahmya's revolting concoction, before heading out, calling over her shoulder to the adults that breakfast is ready. When she arrives at school, Hitoshi is sitting in the 1A classroom, sitting at her desk.

"Dad had to drag me away from Monoma," Hitoshi explains as a greeting once Denki is standing in front of them. "I think I need to tell him, but I'm not entirely sure how."

Denki agrees that Monoma needs to know. She has a feeling that Hitoshi's avoidance of the boy is why the quirk is lasting so long. "Stay here, I'll go talk to Monoma."

"Wait," Hitoshi grabs at Denki's hand to stop her. "I wanted to make sure you didn't get in trouble after yesterday. I told dad what happened."

Denki shakes her head. "It'll be fine, Toshi. But, I can't talk about it here."

What about like this? Hitoshi signs with quick, deft fingers.

Denki grins as she realizes that not only is it sign language, but it's ASL. When did Hitoshi learn that? Since when do you know ASL?

Papa helped me learn it after you told me that was the only sign language you knew. I thought it might come in handy at some point. You learned it for a friend when you lived in America for a year.

The smile on Denki's face is permanent, she can just tell. Hitoshi remembered. They remembered everything, it seems. I mean, I know JSL now, too. I learned it for you since Present Mic has hearing problems. But, yeah, I can talk about it like this.

It takes a little while to explain her entire situation using sign language, but she manages to get through everything, including why she had dated Jirou, the fact that Shouta and Mic know her situation, and what Ren and Ahmya had been saying as she got ready for school.

I don't want dating you to become an assignment, so I wanna ask now, before they tell me to. Will you go out with me? Denki's hands shake as she asks, nervous that Hitoshi will say no because it's just her and not both loud blondes, as well as the fact that she hasn't gotten the chance to change into her alternate uniform yet.

Hitoshi is taken aback. He had wanted to be the one to ask Denki, but they also understood why she was asking first. She wants to ask him now, while it's just because she loves him, instead of being told to date either him or Izuku like had happened with her situation with Jirou. Finally, they answer, but not with words of any kind. Completely forgetting that his dad is in the room, Hitoshi pulls Denki onto their lap and kisses her, and with how shocked Denki is, they get the chance to slip their tongue into the blonde's mouth, twirling it around to taste every surface inside. The moment he goes to kiss along Denki's jaw, though, they hear the very audible sound of someone clearing their throat.

"Shit," Hitoshi hisses, realizing what he was about to try to do. They're beyond embarrassed and angry with themself. Denki literally just asked him to go out with her, he shouldn't have kissed her like that, especially in the classroom. His teenage hormones, mixed with the stupid love quirk, really muddled their brain there. Despite wanting Denki to remain on his lap, they push her off, desperately hoping that she doesn't notice his current issue. "I'm sorry... I didn't... I wasn't..." They hide their face in their hands.

Denki is both happy and mortified. She knows that the initial kiss was supposed to be Hitoshi's yes, but it progressed too far for a school classroom, especially one that Hitoshi's father was sitting in. Breathing heavily, Denki looks around for Izuku's bag, knowing that he usually drops it off in the classroom before heading to the gym to get in a workout before classes start for the day. As soon as she spots the familiar bag, she grabs it and heads towards the door. "I'm going to talk to Monoma, get him to meet us on the roof at lunch, then get changed."

She doesn't wait for Hitoshi to respond, she just darts out of the room and heads directly to the classroom for class 1B. The manic blonde of that particular class starts in on her about class B being superior, but she just calmly waits, refusing to be baited into an argument, and eventually, he calms enough that she can request that he meets with Hitoshi and herself at lunch on the roof.

At first, Neito tries asking why he would ever want to meet with them, but he eventually agrees. He's curious as to why the cute, purple haired boy could possibly want to talk to him, but he's not about to argue, not even the presence of the electric blonde can deter his wish to see Shinsou again despite the fact that Shinsou very obviously has feelings for Kaminari.

With her mission a success, Denki quickly darts into the nearest bathroom to change, making it to class with barely a minute to spare before the bell.
