Next chapter will go back to being mostly focused on Denki. I just wanted to show a bit of the internships, and I couldn't think of anything for Denki with Mic, so I worked with Toshi, Katsuki, and Neito.

Over the next few days, Best Jeanist apologizes about a dozen times for his mistake their first night, eventually stopping when Katsuki literally screams at him to shut the ever living fuck up. Katsuki, somehow, manages to get Monoma’s permission to tell Hitoshi his secret with the explanation that it's part of the support group thing he had told him about, and Hitoshi worries themself sick about Denki not being there with them.

"Not like that, idiot," Katsuki grunts at Monoma. They're training, and Katsuki grudgingly accepted Monoma’s request to practice more with his quirk. "If you don’t brace your fucking shoulders you're going to dislocate them."

Neito rolls his eyes, but follows his directions trying to figure out exactly how the explosive boy handles the quirk without destroying his body. Sure, he likes to say he can use other people's quirks better than they can, and sometimes it's even actually true, but it's a lot more work than he lets on. While each person gets to hone their own quirks over time, he has to learn them quickly before he hurts himself with the affects. He doesn't have the time to practice with one individual quirk since he can only hold them for up to five minutes. Sparring with Bakugou is the longest he's had with one quirk, and that's because he gets to touch the other boy every time his own quirk releases the Bakugou's.

The pair are sweaty and laid out on the floor heaving when Hitoshi enters the training room. He takes one look at their respective beaten and burned bodies before walking over to Monoma and beginning to wipe at the blonde's brow. Everything in him screams to attack Katsuki for doing this to the other blonde, but he shoves that feeling down wondering why the quirk is still affecting them. It's been a week. It was supposed to stop after a week, but he still feels anxious about Denki’s lack of presence and an intense longing for both blondes. As each day passes since the quirk initially took hold, the effects have only gotten stronger, and it has become increasingly difficult to subdue his feelings.

"When you're feeling up to it, could you show me what it's like to be under my quirk?" It's a question they've wanted to ask since he learned about Monoma’s quirk at the sports festival, but this is the first time they've had the courage to ask.

The purple haired boy is stroking Neito’s forehead, so he uses that contact to copy the quirk. "So, I just ask you a question, and it activates, right?"

Hitoshi shakes his head. "You have to will it to take over the person's mind."

Neito concentrates hard on the handsome boy and sits up, slowly, relishing a bit in the contact that he has continued to maintain despite knowing Nieto has already copied the quirk. He thinks of a question to ask. He could easily just ask the color of the sky or something stupid like that, but instead, he asks about Kaminari. "What's your relationship with the electric one in class A?"

"Best Friend." To Neito, Shinsou looks as if the words disgust him, as if he wants to be something else with Kaminari, maybe something more. That realization causes Neito’s heart to drop. Shinsou is already in love with someone else.

Neito can feel as the quirk takes hold of Hitoshi’s mind, and he's not sure if he likes the feeling, it's like invading someone's private space, like grabbing them in all the places that they don't want you to. He understands now, why the purple haired boy wanted to feel its effects first hand. He's curious if it feels as violating as it does from his end. Once he releases Shinsou from the quirk, he's going to ask to be put under it too. He needs to know how it feels if he could potentially ever have to use it again.

After a few commands, just making Shinsou run around the room, do fifty push-ups, and having him tell Bakugou that he's the biggest moron Shinsou has ever met, Neito releases him from the quirk not wanting to continue using it until he's had a chance to be under it.

"Was it like you expected?" Neito asks hoping it wasn't as bad as he felt like it would be.

Hitoshi shrugs. Throughout the experiment, they didn't really feel anything. It was like all their senses shut off except his eyes. It didn't feel bad, it didn't feel good, he just felt nothing. "I didn't really feel anything. It was like along with my brain, all my senses shut off except my eyes. I could see, but nothing else."

"Can you put me under it? I want to know, you know, in case I ever have to use your quirk again. I want to make sure I'm not hurting the person."

Hitoshi nods, understanding exactly why Monoma wanted to know, but he's hesitant. He knows it won't hurt the other hero course student, but he doesn't want to use his quirk on him. They shake their head, clearing it of the love quirk fog. No, Monoma asked them to. They will do what he asked.

"What do you think of Kaminari?" He asks, imbuing his quirk into the words. Monoma asked a personal question, so they will too.

Neito rolls his eyes. "He's probably the only person in class A I can stand."

The next thing Neito knows, he can't feel anything, and he sees himself walking around the training room before jumping in place at the point he stops. He feels absolutely nothing the entire time. No concept of time, no feeling of his feet hitting the ground, no emotions, nothing. It's like how death is described. Once he stops jumping, the quirk is lifted, and he stumbles a moment having lost balance with the sudden ability to feel again. Shinsou's quirk is cool, but it's also terrifying. In other words, Nieto loves it.
