Taitu's POV:

The morning light faintly seeped through the curtain casting soft patterns across the room. I opened my eyes slightly and looked around. I was about to move until I felt arms wrapped around my waist and soft breaths ghosting over my shoulder. I smiled at the memory of last night as I began to trace his arms. His grip tightened pulling me closer with a low sleep groan. Turning around I was greeted by those blue eyes that I loved so much.

"Morning beautiful" he smiled faintly before removing a coil from my eyes.

"Morning princess," I smiled as he huffed, leaning in, his soft lips moved against mine pulling me closer to his bare chest. I rolled on top straddling him as we continued to kiss. "I like you", he sighed against my lips before I felt something underneath.

"Damn, you must really like me" I pulled away.

"I do," his hands rested on my hips as I traced skin.

"Yeah yeah", I rolled my eyes smiling as he sighed.

"I'm just being honest",  his arms wrapped around my waist as I wrapped mine around his neck.

" I appreciate the honesty", I smiled into his hair. We stayed hugging each other in silence enjoying the feeling. The sun rose higher and soon the room was cast in a warm glow. I looked at the clock, it was 07:05.

"You really stayed over," My cheeks were pressed against his soft hair as I listened to his breathing.

"I didn't mean to overstep,"

"It's fine, I really like your company," his head rose up a few inches from my face.

"I really like spending time with you too,", he smiled. My heart fluttered as he inched closer to my lips. Before they could touch, a knock erupted from the door. My eyes shot wide open before I leapt out of his lap.

"Hold on!" I called out as I threw him his shirt while he rushed to put his joggers on.

" Hurry up and get ready before you run late," My mother called out from the other side. I gave Elijah his shoes as he swung his hoodie over his head before grabbing his bag.

"What is all that noise, what's going on?" she called out as I pushed Eli towards the balcony and kissed him on the cheek before shutting the curtains.

Just as the door opened, I jumped back to my bed and underneath the covers. "You're still in bed? and why is it so dark in here?" she walked towards the curtains.

"Mum don't-" She yanked the curtains open.

"It's so hot in here as well, come on, get ready, you have an hour to get to school," she tapped my leg before heading out. As soon as the door shut, I rushed to the balcony and looked around. He was nowhere to be seen. A call blared from my phone, I answered it from the side table and was greeted by his voice.

"Hey beautiful, good thing I escaped in time", he laughed as I sighed.

"That was hella fast, you a vampire or something?" I was grinning like a Cheshire cat.

"Something like that. I really enjoyed seeing you," I could hear keys in the background before a clicking sound was made.

"Funny and yeah I enjoyed yesterday too, see you at school,"

"See you at school Taitu," He chimed before igniting the engine. I hung up and proceeded to get ready for school.

"What's up with you?" Brook wiggled her eyebrows as we walked into the cafeteria.

"Nothing, why?" I glanced at her as we sat down at a table by the window.
