The love story of y/n and Norman

*You and Norman explaining your love to Norma;*
"Long before I was a free spirit who treated life as one big party, I actually used to be a doofy bookworm who went to bed by 9:00 just like Norman here." you started "You think my son's a doof?" Norma butted in.

"Norman you wanna maybe talk about our love" you asked handing Norman the remote "You bet, y/n has been a great influence on me" Norman said changing the slide. "Are you drinking a beer?!" Norma yelled looking at you.

"MOVING ON" Norman yelled once again changing the slide to a photo of you two playing golf "Look last week she took me mini golfing for half price Tuesdays"

"But there's school on Tuesday" Norma said  "Moving on,See y/n is really thoughtful mom,she threw  me a surprise party and it was the best night of my life" Norman said changing to a slide with you two holding a cake.
IS THAT MY LIVING ROOM?! Did you throw a party when I was away?!" Norma yelled

Norman passed you the remote before quickly saying"Y/n please take over again" "No I've had enough this just confirms what I already knew you . You may love my son but it doesn't mean your good for him."

You  get mad that Norman's mom dissed you and went home to complain to your parents "Norman's mom doesn't think I'm good enough for him do you believe that?" Your mom gives you a knowing look and your dad tells it like it is " He's a straight A student who's already running a business and you're a college dropout who can't hold a job."

Norman confessing his love to you:

You got mad at Norman  because you brother lied to you and told him he was dating a woman knowing you were in love with him:

A car pulled in front off your house and Norman hopped out of the car
" Y/n  open the window!" He yelled standing in your lawn.  Your mom runs into your room

"Hey Normans out in the lawn, What are you doing?" She asked seeing you on your bed cutting pictures "Just cutting his face out of every memory." Your mom rolls her eyes and runs over to the window and opens it. "She doesn't want to come to the window." your mom yells down to Norman.

"Okay then would you tell her I'm not dating Paula?" He yells in return. Your mom gasps and turns around facing you "He says he's not dating Paula!"

"He's not? Why not"  You ask looking up from the photos, your mom turns to the window "Why not?" she asks , Your brother walks on the lawn next to Norman

"I'll field this one, I made it up!" He says to your mom. She turns to you "Adam said he made it up." "really?" your mom goes to the window "Really?" "Yes!" Norman yells up,your mom turns back to you "Yes."

Adam looked at Norman and said "Hey this is just like in "Crocodile Dundee " When Mick professes his love across a busy subway platform, but, You're doing it through my mom."

your mom turns to you "This is just like when a crocodile in dungarees eats Mick Jagger in a subway sandwich shop "

"What?!" you ask your mom, She sighs "This is way harder than it looks "Tell her there's nobody from Australia or anyone else in the world I'd rather be with! Tell her I love her!"  *Gasps* "He says he--" "I heard him get out of my way!" You yell running to the window

"You love me?" "More than anything, I did what you wanted. I sampled life yi find out what makes me happy and I discovered there's only one thing . You" You run down the stairs and to the front lawn  where you run to Norman and engulf him in a hug.

yOu and Norman are getting married:

I went to Dr. Carl's marriage class by myself" Norman said walking into the house "Your coming in with a lot of energy I can't match, So get it all out now" You said looking up from your wedding planner

"after the super awkward first ten minutes of convincing them you were real, I gained a greater understanding of how to be a supportive partner to you."  "And I'm all for whatever you just said,but sorry, my mom's trying on her dress for the wedding,and I'm worried" "

Don't be. All eyes will be on you." He said as your mom walked down the stairs singing "Here comes the mom" She giggles twirling around in her dress "what do you think" You stand up walking towards her. "Don't worry. I know it seems tight in through here, but it's still roomy enough at the bottom for me to do my dance solo." She says before grabbing her dress and dancing around the room.

"It's white." You say "It's Egg cream" your mother corrects. "It's clearly a bridal gown". "Do you want me to coordinate with you or not? we're practically twins, or so I expected to hear" your mother says sassily "it's supposed to be our day." you said pointing to Norman and yourself. "And it will be. Mostly." your mother replied

"You are unbelievable." You say walking into a different room.
"Mrs. l/n, I have to say something you need to hear." Norman started bravely. "Oh my. Are you gathering yourself right now Norman? Your spine doesn't have the usual candy cane shape "

I love your daughter and I want this wedding to be a positive experience for her. So I am respectfully asking you to take a step back." your mother's face drops " I see." she says as she turns and walks upstairs "That went well." Norman mumbled to himself. you walk back in the room "What went well?" "Your loving and supportive fiance just asked your mother to take a step back."

"A step back? As in backwards? Away from the wedding?". "Why is your tone so haunting and ominous " Norman asked growing nervous.
"This is bad. This is really bad.. " 
"She said 'I See' ! She saw" "Even if she says she saw she never sees."
Your mom comes down the stairs in a different outfit and walks up to you. "y/n it has come to my attention that your fiance hates me and wants nothing to do with me." "That's not what I said!" Norman declines

"I've been kicked out of your lives forever. An old bottle of Mount dew chucked out the window  and left to yellow and fade on the highway of life. Here's are holiday, birthday and get well cards for my yet  to be conceived grandchildren. Make sure they know my name",my face and my story of loss." She said handing you a stack of envelopes "If you need me I will be crying in my room for eternity"She said before walking back up the stairs .

You never washed a dish, or excepted any criticism in the gentle way I intended. But you've also never backed down from a fight when you knew it was the right thing to do. I love your strength. I love your courage. I even love your crazy family. But mostly,I love you.
