I woke up in a hospital bed.

I sat up, confused.

My uncle sat in the chair next to my bed.

He looked at me with bloodshot eyes. It looked like he had been crying for a while. "Kokichi..." He whispered.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Don't play dumb..." He said under his breath.

"Huh?"

"I SAID DON'T PLAY DUMB WITH ME! WHY DID YOU TRY AND KILL YOURSELF?" He yelled.

I was shaken back. He had never been aggressive like this towards me, but I guess he'd be a little upset with me after trying to kill myself.

He sighed. "Sorry, sorry. I didn't- I- sorry. I just... Don't know what to say." 

I nodded. "I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have tried it I-"

He shook his head. "Kid, you don't need to apologize. *I'm* sorry. What can I do to make life easier for you?"

"Huh?" I questioned. "It wasn't you who made my life hell. It was just a build-up of everything going on over the past few years. I think."

He nodded. "I get that. You lived in a sucky house for years and the transition from there to here must have made things even harder for you." He cleared his throat. "So it wasn't anyone's fault but myself and your parents."

I was shocked to hear that but glad I wasn't getting in trouble.

"So, let me ask you again. What can I do to make life better for you?" He asked.

What..?

"I mean... It wasn't you. You've been really good to me so you can just do what you're doing. It's a couple of people at school. And maybe... Them." I said, whispering the last part.

He perked up a bit. "What. Who's bullying you?"

I turned my head to the side. "I uh..."

He put a hand on my shoulder. "Hey, you can tell me. You're not in trouble."

I sighed.

"Uh well... There's Iruma and uh oh yeah Enoshima. Chabashira sometimes makes me feel bad about my gender and there's Ludenburg but she doesn't really like anyone herself." I said 

My uncle looked pissed.

"I'm gonna call the school." He said.

I started to panic. "What. No" I said

He looked back at me. "Why?"

I shook my head. "No- just please don't. I'll get bullied even more just please.... Don't."

He sighed. "Fine but if the school calls and says you're getting bullied, I will be getting them expelled."

I let out a sigh of realife.

now there was an awkward silence.

"So.... Who found me because like... It would make-"

"It was that Shuichi boy."

Huh? Shumai?"

"Oh yeah that reminds me." My uncle said. "He's coming to visit in about 10 minutes."

"HUH?"
