CHAPTER 36: PRETENSE AND LIES

Noah's POV

F**k!!

Midnight is really hardheaded... I know she knew that I was just bluffing. I only did that because it's a command from the bosses. I don't have a choice but to lie and pretend.  Pinuntahan ko ang girlfriend ko na si Trina. She's really my girlfriend and I love her more than my life.

"Baby, you in here?" tawag ko dito ng pumasok ako sa condo unit nito. I didn't hear a response, kaya dumirecho ako sa kusina. The dishes is still not washed and makalat din ang living room... "Baby?" tawag ko ulit. Naglakad ako papunta ng kwarto niya and I don't know why I'm feeling nervous. Hindi na ako nag abalang kumatok at derechang pumasok nalang. And the scene I saw shattered my whole world. Trina's busy f**king another man...... Dahil sa galit kinuha ko ang caliber thirty eight sa gilid ng pantalon ko. And then I shoot the bedside table. Napasigaw si Trina at lumingon sa may pinto kung saan ako nakatayo. Gulat siyang napatingin sakin.

"N-Noah.... I..... I c-can explain.... Baby let m-me explain."kinakabahan saad niya I disgustedly look at her.

"Explain what? Can you give me the best explanation why he's pleasuring you?"sarkastikong tanong ko. Umiling lang siya at nagsimulang humikbi. Lumapit siya sakin. "Don't even come near me!" bulyaw ko at napaatras siya.

"N-Noah..... I-Im so sorry. I don't... I didn't....... I-I never loved you..."malungkot na humihikbing pag amin niya.. "I just needed to be with you, because your part of the organization who's our enemy."seryosong saad niya na ikinagulat ko.... "But you're a good p-person Noah. I am so sorry ...."sinserong saad niya ngunit kahit isa sa sinabi niya ay hindi tinanggap ng isip ko.

"All of that was a lie."hindi makapaniwalang saad ko. Peke akong tumawa ... "You're a good actress. You made me believe in a lie..."sarkastikong saad niya..... "Even if I wanted to kill you, I can't."seryosong saad ko na ikinalaki ng mga mata niya. "Whoever your boss is, I'll make sure he or she will suffer in hell together with you!" inis na bulyaw ko.

"Tsk..... Watch your words man. You don't know her, and before you even know about her you'll be buried six feet under."sarkastikong saad ng lalaking kasama ni Trina. Dahil sa inis ay binaril ko siya  without even looking at him. Sumigaw si Trina.. May halong pampatulog at titigil ang puso ng matatamaan nito ng limang minuto.

"J-John!!"sigaw niya.... "Don't leave me.... Please .."umiiyak niyang pakiusap sa lalake, at napahigpit ang hawak ko sa baril .... Masama siyang tumingin sakin at lumapit at sinampal ako.... "How dare you! Y-You killed my h-husband!!" bulyaw niya.... Nagulat ako sa natuklasan.... H-husband?

Kinuha ko ang syringe sa likod ng bulsa ko. At tinurok yun kay Trina. The organization needs her kaya hindi ko siya pinatay. At hindi ko kayang patayin siya....  Nawalan siya ng balanse kay kinarga ko siya. Binihisan ko siya at kinarga papunta sa sasakyan ko .... I called back up para kunin ang asawa nito.

Dumirecho kami sa UNDERGROUND... Kung saan ang organisasyon, no one knows this place except the trusted assassins and the bosses. Right hand ako ni Lhorton Echavez or mas kilala sa tawag na Hitman. Yumukod ang mga nakakita sakin.... Dumirecho ako sa opisina ni Hitman. Nakita ko siya na malamig ang mga mata. Walang reaksiyon ang mukha. Yumukod ako sa kanya.

"My Lord." sambit ko.

"Why are you bringing me your girlfriend?" seryosong tanong niya. I sighed and put Trina in the couch.

"She's part of the Sneaky Pythons, my Lord."simula ko. "S-She just used me, but she failed because I never give her any idea of the organization. Now I realize why she keep on asking me about my job.."seryosong paliwanag ko. Tumango lang siya at ngumisi.

" What a dirty tactic."sarkastikong saad nito. He then looked at me. "I'm surprised you haven't killed her."saad nito.

"I can't. Even I badly want to, she can be used to identify the leader of our enemy." seryosong saad ko. "Kinuha na din ng mga tauhan ang asawa nito, he's not dead but still unconscious. I used the gun invented by Queen Devilin." saad ko . Tumango lang siya.....

"Well done." nakangiti ngunit seryosong saad niya. "Bring her to the guest room" pilyong saad nito. Guest room is different here in the Underground.... Mas gugustuhin mo pang matulog nalang sa kalsada. Ang guest room ay torture room... Tinatali namin doon ang mga dinadakip for interrogation. And when I say torture, it's a hell of torture. Lalo na pag si Empress ang kaharap mo, she's really scary....
