Chapter 54

Chase's POV

Andito na ako sa school at lumapit sakin si Stephanie.

"Chase patulong naman oh. Sabi nila marunong ka daw mag drawing. Baka pwedeng gawan mo ko ng assignment tutal wala pa naman si ma'am. Please hindi talaga ako nakagawa dahil nag work ako kahapon... Please Chase." pagmamakaawa niya . Tumango nalang ako dahil tama nga siya maaga pa naman. Nagulat ako ng bigla niya akong hilain.

"Saan tayo?"tanong ko sa kanya. Ngumiti siya at patuloy akong hinila. Hanggang nakarating kami sa isang garden. Ang ganda dito hindi ko ito napansin noon. "Pano mo nalaman ang tungkol dito sa Lugar?"naguguluhang tanong ko.

"Nalito kasi ako nung isang araw tapos hindi ko alam kung saan ako dumaan nun hanggang sa nakita ko to. Ang ganda noh?"manghang saad niya kaya tumango ako. Ngumiti siya at umupo kami sa isang table na nandun....

Pinakita niya sa akin ang gusto niyang ipaguhit. Pag kakita ko sa picture kapareha ito dito kaya tumingin ako sa kanya.

"Ang ganda kasi ng scenery kaya nag picture ako tas naisip ko ito nalang." ngumiti siya na parang bata. Nag simula na ako mag drawing. Habang ginagawa ko ang assignment niya sumulyap ako sa kanya at nakita ko siyang pumipitas ng halaman. Para talagang bata tong babaeng to. Hindi ko talaga maintindihan kung bakit galit si babe sa kanya. Habang nag da drawing ay bigla siyang lumapit sakin. Tumingin siya sa gawa Kong malapit na matapos.... "Ang talented mo talaga." saad niya habang nakangiti ng pagkatamis-tamis.

Tinapos ko na ang assignment niya.  Niyakap niya ako at hinalikan sa pisnge. Nagulat ako sa inasta niya at ganun din siya...

"Hala! I'm so sorry Chase. Ganyan talaga ako eh.... Sorry talaga, sana wag ka magalit sakin. At sana wag mo na to sabihin sa girlfriend mo natatakot ako sa kanya." nag mamakaawang saad niya. Ngumiti lang ako at tumango.

"Tara na baka nandun na si ma'am." Aya ko sa kanya. Nakita ko nahihirapan siya sa books niya kaya nag offer ako na ako na ang mag dadala. Pag balik namin sa classroom nakita ko agad ang mga mapanghusgang mata ng mga kaklase namin. And there I saw my girlfriend. Ang lamig ng titig niya at ang dilim ng awra niya. Napansin ko din namumula ang kamay niya. Pag upo ni Stephanie binigay ko ang mga libro niya. Lumapit ako kay Night.

"Good morning babe."bati ko sa kanya. Tiningnan niya lang ako at hindi umimik. "Babe anong nangyari sa kamay mo? Okay ka lang ba?" tanong ko. Hindi niya parin ako iniimikan. "Kukuha muna ako ng first aid kit ha. Wait ka lang jan." Saad ko. Aalis na sana ako ng makita ko si Tyler na may bitbit na first aid kit.

"Beautiful gagamutin ko na kamay mo." masiglang saad nito. Lumapit siya kay Night at hinawakan ang kamay nito. Is he seriously gonna hold her hand in front of me!

"Dude, back off."inis na taboy ko sa kanya.

"I'm just trying to help bro. Namamaga kasi eh." paliwanag niya. I was about to push him when Night stopped me.

"Cut it, Chase."malamig na sita niya sakin. "Wag kang gumawa ng gulo, dahil mainit ang ulo ko." mahina ngunit may diing saad niya. Wala na akong magawa kundi umalis at umupo sa upuan ko. Stephanie looked at me as if saying that if I'm alright. I just nod at her then she smiled.

After five minutes pumasok na si Prof. Incarnate. Siya nga pala ang adviser namin sa loob ng school year.

"Good morning class. So may magaganap na acquaintance party next week so we still have a week to prepare. Yesterday the faculty and staff conducted a meeting regarding this coming acquaintance party. So we all decided that our theme for todays party is fairytale which we can wear anything  want  that is related to our theme. And it is compulsory to attend to this event, we will give additional points to those who would participate. And there is a performance in every section and of course we have a dance troupe and choir so who ever is interested to join in the Cortexians Body Shakers they will have a audition later at four to five pm. And to those who are interested to join in the choir they will also have a audition later at four to five pm. And there would be a battle of bands so I am requesting to those students in our class who have the talent to sing and play instrument to join the competition. And this would be all. I would assign Ms. Padilla to list the interested people who will perform during our acquaintance party. So Ms. Padilla I'm giving you the floor to continue the class."mahabang paliwanag ni Prof at umalis.

"So guys. Like what Prof said our outfits must be connected to the theme and please, just please put your biggest effort in this event para Hindi ka mag mukhang katawa-tawa."Saad ni Alexis at tumawa ang mga kaklase namin. "Who is interested to join in battle of the bands?"tanong niya. Walang nag hands up at walang umimik. "Hays kairita kayo noh. Because I'm in charge to this meeting you're all gonna do what I say. It's a must or gusto niyong maupakan ni Night. " Inirapan Siya ni Night at nakita ko namutla ang mga kaklase namin. May kinuha si Alex sa bulsa niya which is her phone at may tinawagan.

After a while may dumating na drums, electric guitars,. microphone , piano sa classroom.

"Ms. Padilla?"tawag ng isang delivery guy.

"Yes, please arrange it here." utos niya dito. Inayos nila ang mga instrument sa loob ng classroom. "Tell, kuya thanks for all of this."Saad niya sa delivery guy. Nakita ko namangha ang mga kaklase namin.

"Yes ma'am."sagot nila at umalis na.

"So dahil ayaw niyo mag participate. Nag dala ako ng mga gamit dito to see if you are skilled to use all of this. Let's start at the main event which is the voice. So I will nominate Midnight to sing because I know magaling siya . You all need to sing one chorus same song. So the song will be This is Me. Come here Night."tawag niya sa kaibigan... Lumapit si Night at binatukan siya. Pumwesto si Night sa microphone.

"I always been the kind of girl that hid my face

Is it real that my cool girlfriend have a sweet angelic voice.  "This is real, this is me...I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be now.. Gonna let the light  , shine on me...Now I found who I am.... There's no way to hold it in... No more hiding who I want to be......This is me"  pumalakpak ang mga kaklase sa kanta niya.

"So I decided na she will be the vocalist dahil gusto ko manalo tayo I would choose a male vocalist para sa duet. So any volunteers?" saad ni Alexis. Naunahan ako ni Tyler pag taas ng kamay. " Okay, Tyler."tawag ni Alexis. Pumwesto si Tyler sa microphone.

"Uhmm, can I sing a different song?" tanong niya Kay Alexis. At tumango naman ito.  "I found a love for me, darling just dive right in and follow my lead. I found a girl beautiful and sweet I never knew you were that someone waiting for me....  We were just kids and we fell in love not knowing what it was I'm gonna give you all this time.... Darling just hold my hand and remind me I'll be your man and I see a future in your eyes.... Baby I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms barefoot on the grass listening to our favorite song. I am safe with what I see 'cause I met an angel in person darling you look perfect tonight." kanta niya nakita ko kinilig ang mga kaklase naming babae. And i saw Alexis clapping her hands.

"That's what we call TALENT! Magnifico Tyler! So it's settled.... Tyler and Midnight will be our lead vocalist in our band." anunsiyo ni Alexis. Pina play niya kami lahat ng mga instruments. Ako at si Vape ang sa guitar at si Reese naman sa Drums at si Reve ay sa piano. Alexis would be the director. "So we just have a week to prepare for the upcoming event. Tomorrow we will practice at Midnight's place. Dahil open space yun." aangal sana si Midnight Kay Alexis pero pinanilsikan niya lang ito ng mata. "And everyone must come. Dahil Ang Hindi kasali sa competition at gagawa ng mga props at banners for cheering. Lahat tayo magpa-participate walang mag Fe feeling Reyna lahat tayo may gagawin."anunsiyo nito. May binulong si Midnight. "Change of venue sa court nalang tayo mag pa practice...." aangal dapat ang iba dahil mga maarte sila  at ayaw sa mainit na lugar....    "Ep! Wag kayong umangal. This court is private, pagmamay ari namin ni Midnight. Kung mag tatanong kayo bakit kami may court ay dahil dito kami tumatambay dalawa. So this is not just any ordinary court na nasa isip niyo. It's our kingdom tinatawag lang namin siyang court dahil may basketball space, badminton, volleyball at etc..... This place are our training area. Mag tatanong na naman kayo kung anong klaseng training? Me and Night knew how to play all kinds of sports and our training is private na baka matakot pa kayo. So 6 am tomorrow you should all be here para sabay sabay na tayong pupunta sa palasyo namin ni Night. And i don't want anyone to be late. There will be punishment pag na late at hindi sumipot." paliwanag ni Alexis. "If you want to participate in the dance troupe and choir may audition later and just send a slip that you're part of it with a signature of the dean and the president of the club. And you'll be excused in our practice. At if ayaw niyo naman, you can go home. So that's all for our meeting. See you all tomorrow. Meeting adjourned!"masayang Saad ni Alex.
