Chapter 23

"So what do you usually do when Yeonjun is working?" I roll over onto my stomach and rest my chin on my fist.

Mina looks away from the TV and smiles. "Well, I have parties." She wiggles her eyebrows and smirks.

"Well if you count a Netflix popcorn party by myself a party." Then her face fell and she let out a loud groan.

"We should have a party!" I cheer and get up from the couch. "I still haven't been in the pool, so let's make it a pool party!" Immediately ideas start to flow through my head making me super excited for a party I'm not even sure we can have.

"You're right fury, let's throw a pool party!" Mina got up and dusted off her sweater. "The only problem is its freezing out." She gave me a 'really you forgot' look and shook her head.

"Well isn't the pool heated?"

"I guess, I mean we can swim in it just no party outside in swimsuits." She shrugs. "Plus the best part of a pool party is looking super hot in a bikini."

"What if we got those heater things that they put outside restaurants?" I smile and jump up and down like a kid in a candy store.

"Fury, are you feeling okay?" Mina stares at me. "What in the world makes you think we can surround a pool with electronic heaters?!"

Internally I groan and fall back onto the couch. "Well I'm bored, what else can we do?"

"Why don't we have an indoor pool party! I mean all we need is a kitty pool and some pool party stuff."

From that point on I knew that Mina and I were going to have a glorious friendship. Only true friends have kitty pool parties in their living room. Now we just need to get a blow up baby swimming pool.

"Okay I'm going to go tell the boys, you heat up the car!" I call to her as I jog down the hallway to Ryujin's office.

With the excitement of an indoor pool party running through my veins, I burst through the office doors and see Yeonjun and Ryujin. They look deep in work until I completely distracted them.

"Yeddeong, is everything okay?" Ryujin glanced up at me with raised brows.

"Uh ya, I just wanted to let you know that Mina and I are going to buy a blow up baby swimming pool."

Yeonjun quickly turns around in his chair and wears the same amused look that Ryujin does.

"Yeddeong, you know that we have a pool in the backyard right?" Ryujin asks me slowly like she's trying to figure me out.

"I know but Mina said that it's too cold so we can't look super hot in our bikinis or something," I mutter and smile at her innocently.

Ryujin turned to Yeonjun with a hard glare. "We need to talk to Mina."

"Okay well I'm going to go, and we'll be back soon." With that, I briefly waved and ran outside to where Mina was waiting in the car.

I got in on the passenger side and buckled in. "We good?" Mina checks.

"We good." So Mina started the engine and we were off to some store.

The drive was fairly short until we pulled up to a large building that's part of a strip mall. There was red circles painted on the outside and a big red sign that said Target. We hopped out of the car and made our way inside.

"Mina, why would they have kitty pools in the fall?" I ask while staring around at all the different products.

"Well because summer is over and everything summer is on clearance."
