My gaze shot up as the two doors burst open, finally giving into my pleading. My father grabbed my hand as she saw my mother being dragged into the room.

Then finally my heart stops aching, my lungs breath in the air as she fills it with a hypnotic scent. My wolf cries out for her touch.

Ryujin is shoved through the doors with silver handcuffs around her wrists and two guards holding her securely.

But nothing is strong enough to hold her back the second her eyes landed on me. Simply she jerks off the guard's hold and rushes towards me, falling to her knees.

I let go of my father and reach out the best I can with my one free arm, wrapping it around her neck and digging my face into her chest.

Tears erupt from my eyes as the touch causes my blood to boil and my heart to beat rapidly. A feeling so familiar, so desired.

"Yeji, I love you so much I-I can't believe I found you." She frantically whispers to me as I refuse to let her go. "I couldn't go on without you, I let this happen, it's all my fault-"

She must have spotted the mark on my neck because her eyes turn dark and fill with rage.

"Ryujin there's a knife, he has a silver knife." I quietly hurry out before the guards snatch her back, only making her more furious.

Tears stain my cheek as they struggle to keep a hold of her. I can tell she's dying to shift, but the silver cuffs keep her wolf at bay.

"It's like one big reunion!" The man claps her hand and leans against the desk, watching us all like a child visiting a zoo.

He guards the small chest behind his back. "You know what, let them be together, it will only make it more painful when I rip them apart again."

A guard stomps over to me and frees my wrist from the cuff. I can't help but run to Ryujin, who is now chained to the floor like my parents.

I fly into her chest and wrap my arms around her neck and her torso, promising myself to never let go.

The silver handcuffs keep her arms trapped behind her, and I can tell she's dying to hold me back.

"I thought I was never going to see you again." I sob and dampen her shirt with my salty tears. "I was so scared that I would be stuck here forever."

"Listen to me Yeji, I'm getting you out of here if it's the last thing I do if I tell you to run and leave me you run, understand?"

My heart tears at her words, I shake my head refusing to ever leave her now that I have her in my arms again.

"I can't leave you, I-I'll die without you." I continue to sob. "I want to be with you forever, by your side." Without thinking I press my lips against hers, feeling her soft perfect ones under mine, a feeling I've only had the chance to experience once before.

I force myself to pull back and stop using up time when I know we'll have enough as soon as I get us out of this mess.

Suddenly the man's hand yanks me off of Ryujin imprisons me in her arms. I struggle against her while Ryujin lowly growls a certain sound I've never heard her muster.

"Oh calm down Alpha, I can see you're not one for sharing." He grips me tighter, sending a whimper through my lips. "Let's see, who do I want to kill first, who do you want to die first Yeji?"

I begin to panic and my eyes dart between my parents and Ryujin. I refuse to speak.

"Looks like I'll have to pick for you then."
