"Viv, can you come in here please?" I heard my boss John say from his office. I groaned and looked at my co-worker Marie.
"Wonder what this is about." I said and got up grabbing my tablet and headed into his office.
"Hey, shut the door." I said and I did as I was told. I saw across from him.
"So...you know how we have been talking about that special assignment lately in the meeting but we weren't mentioning what it was?" John asked and I nodded.
"Yeah, what about it?" I asked and he smiled handing me a folder.
"How do you feel about moving to Boston. Concord to be more accurate." John said and I looked at him concerned.
"Um....I mean I would love the chance but I didn't know it would involve moving." I said and John sighed.
"Well I need exclusives living in the Boston area but not directly in Boston and what there is to do around town." John said and I sighed.
"So life in quiet Concord Massachusetts?" I asked and started flipping through the info.
"Yeah, I guess it's the up-and-coming place to live and the travel magazine wants to do a feature on it." John said and I nodded.
"You know who is rumored to live in Concord?" John asked and I shook my head.
"Captain America himself, Chris Evans. I guess his whole family lives in the area." John said and I shrugged.
"Okay....and your point being?" I asked.
"Maybe you can run into him, I know he is in town for a while. Maybe even get an interview or a couple quotes from him for the articles." John said and I groaned.
"I'm not going to be bugging Chris Evans just to get you some quotes from him." I said and John sighed.
"I'm not saying chase him down, I am saying if you run into him, introduce yourself and see what you can get from him." John said and I just shook my head wanting to change the subject.
"When do you need me to go?" I asked.
"Next week. We have an apartment for you already paid for. They accept dogs so Perdy can go with you." John said and I smiled as he mentioned my Dalmatian dog name for the female dog in 101 Dalmatians.
"Well that's all that matters, she is all I have." I said and John nodded.
"So what does me going entail? You want something every week to put in the magazine?" I asked and John nodded.
"Just places to hang out, popular restaurants and bars. Local hot spots for all price ranges. You know how to do your job and get info." John said.
"So you want me there next week but you have to get me time to get the first article done." I said and John nodded.
"You have a month until I need something from you." John said and I nodded.
"Sounds great." I said and smiled at John as he stood up and I knew the meeting was over.
"Everything you need is in that folder. Apartment info, landlord has your keys. There is a nice walking trail by the apartment to take Perdy out on. Moving truck is paid for as well." John said and I nodded.
"Okay well I will start packing up tonight." I said and he nodded.
"Question, how long are you planning on me to be there?" I asked.
"6 months...maybe less maybe longer. The higher ups want fall and winter covered at least. If all goes well we will keep you there for spring and summer." John said.,
"Anything specific they want." I said and John sighed.
"They just want anything about life in Boston." John said and I nodded.
"Okay, I'll see what I can do." I said and walked out of the office. Marie looked at me.
"I'm moving to Boston." I said and she looked at me shocked as I explained everything to her.

I was at home packing that night as Perdy laid next to me and I sighed.
"It's going to be okay right? This is a good move for us. Fresh start. I mean hey if we like it we could always stay. Nothing here in New York for us anymore." I said to Perdy and she looked up at me.
"Come on Perdy, everyone is gone. Mom and dad are done, gram just died and we have no one here for us. Why not try something new?" I said and she got up and walked away.
"Don't be a jerk." I called after her. I started packing up some picture frames and photo albums. This was going to be a big change and I knew I needed a change. My family all died within the past year and I had no one but my dog left. I got up and grabbed my laptop and started doing some research on where I would be living and what was already around the place. My search quickly led to Chris Evans and pictures of him constantly around Boston. I groaned and leaned back on the couch. Chris Evans did not need to be on my radar. Did I think he was cute, of course I did but he couldn't be around as much as it made it seem. I then saw pictures of him walking a dog and I got invested.
"Hey Perdy, I may have found you a boyfriend." I said and laughed as she ran in and barked.
"Okay fine, no boyfriends." I said and she walked away again.
"So picky." I said and laughed as I closed out of Chris and just continued looking at other things around town until I decided it was time to walk Perdy for the night and got to bed.
"Come on Perdy, walk time!" I yelled and she came running to the front door. After we left the apartment and we were walking my cellphone went off and I saw it was a notification from Instagram. I opened it up and sighed when I saw it was Chris Evans. It was a picture of him and his dog, Dodger...great another Disney dog.
-Home with my boy for a couple months and I couldn't be happier.- the caption read with the picture and I groaned.
"Great so first objective, avoid Chris Evans at all costs." I said as Perdy and I continued our walk.
